Perfect view in central Pa. Beautiful crisp autumn evening with the corn dryer roaring in the distance.

Clear as a bell and high as a kite in Richmond VA. Going out to the deck now.

See you on the dark side of the moon!

...(not really high, just a wee cab/sav as a matter of fact).

Cloudy in Houston too. They have an orange glow though.

I'm not even seeing that on the west side of town...I see nothing!

It's nice and balmy here.

But we can't see the freakin' eclipse either. :(

P.S. I love your home page, looks like you live in the boonies too.

Thanks! Actually, I don't - but we picked our home verrry carefully, because it "backs up" to the boonies (the Bear Creek Conservation Area). Lots of nature out back, which is why virtually the entire rear of the home is big window or sliders.

Very dark at night so we can enjoy the Milky Way almost every evening - something we didn't ever see when we lived in the pits of Los Angeles County.

I never bothered to set up the telescope today...I knew it would be solid clouds. DOH! Luckily I have seen it all before.

Terre Haute, Indiana...passing clouds but not obscuring the view all the time, moon looks about 3/4 obscured. It's a bit chilly outside, though.
