Explosions on far side of sun
Art Bell Show
Posted on 11/09/2003 10:58:41 PM PST by per loin
Professor Ramon Lopez, Art's first hour guest, confirmed that there are very large explosions taking place on the far side of the sun. Quite possibly these are coming from sunspot 10486. We do not know if that sunspot is now shrinking or is growing. From this side, all we are seeing are the full halos expanding out.

Isn't there some Scriptural prophecy about in the latter days, God would allow the sun to scorch some men on the earth?

Possibly you are correct. I do not recall and I am not an expert in Biblical prophesy. Muslims are all over the web claiming that their "Mahdi" is coming now that there are full lunar and full solar eclipses during Ramadan. Yellowstone is heating up (200 degree ground temperatures), animal are fleeing and there is a huge ten story tall "bump" under the lake.
Personally, I believe that there may be a correlation between what the sun does and what the earth does.
If Yellowstone blows it will be the biggest bang heard on the planet in about 640,000 years.

Yellowstone is heating up (200 degree ground temperatures), animal are fleeing and there is a huge ten story tall "bump" under the lake.If Yellowstone blows it will be the biggest bang heard on the planet in about 640,000 years.
There's an enormous amount of Bovine Scatology out on the web now about Yellowstone who don't have the foggiest idea of what they are talking about.
1) "200 degree ground temperatures" are routine in parts of Yellowstone and have been for hundreds of thousands of years, it being a geothermal area and all.
2) Geothermal areas can and do change over time, with geyers and springs activating and deactivating, ground warming and cooling, etc., and none of it necessarily has anything to do with any upcoming eruptions.
3)The ten story "bump," which has probably gotten far more attention than it deserves, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ENTIRE CALDERA ERUPTING.
For large supercalderas the OVERWHELMING majority of your actual volcanic eruption modes DO NOT INVOLVE the entire caldera exploding as a Supervolcano. It's mostly a lot of (relatively) piddly stuff, cinder cones, small stratovolcanoes, etc. (And seismically there's no sign at all of any of that about to happen or any marked change.) It is likely the signs of an impending eruption of the entire Caldera would be extremely obvious and go on for a long time.
There was infinitely more activity at Long Valley Caldera in California in the 80s and early 90s, and it ended up not erupting and the activity has faded greatly.

There are four or five highly regarded scientists that say that Yellowstone may be a real danger. Mt. Hood and Mt. Shasta are showing signs of restlessness. There is a huge bulge on Mt. Hood and one of the Sisters has a bulge as well. I listened to a radio interview with a reporter who has interviewed park rangers at Yellowstone and talked about their concerns. There have been many quakes in the past few months and swarms of quakes indicating lava movement under Yellowstone. Oh, well . . .
But everything is bovine squat. Yada, yada, yada, yada. I'm very happy you cleared that all up.
