Jessica doesn't view herself as a hero, so why all of the antagonism? She's a young person who has been through a lot of bad things. Her story is of interest so she has told it via her book and interviews. More power to her if she gets this attention. The sorry side of it is the antagonism that she will also generate. Regardless, there are a lot of people interested in her story. Personally I would be interested in the stories of all of our young men and women who are serving around the world. It's too bad the media hasn't provided them with a forum as well.

Having read most of this thread last nite, it's amazing the varity of responses from approval to disgust.

Youth sometimes does foolish things, and those things can follow them around.

It's dispicable of anyone to show pictures like this if they even exist.

I doubt this goes on in Suburbia to much of a degree, and it does seem to take a certain type of woman to do something like this.

But sometimes outwards apperances and demeanor are deceptive as to what lies below the surface in some people.

In my experience, lots of people are not what they seem on the surface. Even drastically different in some cases.

What antagonism? I feel horrible for the poor girl, who--but for Clinton--should never have been anywhere near the front lines. I am annoyed only at how glibly the term "hero" is tossed around these days--increasingly so since 9/11.

It take a certain type of moron to take a lowlife liar like Flynt at his word. this is the sleazeball that claimed a few months ago that he had naked pics of one of the Presidents daughters at a naked party at Yale U. Nothing ever came of that. He also claimed, during the 2000 campaign, to have pics of Bush himself naked on a bar during his youthful drinking days. Again, nothing.

You beleive Flynt because it suits your Lynch bashing agenda. you would probably beleive Bill Clinton himself if he said something bad about Lynch for you to repeat.
