I have yet to hear Ms. Lynch talk other than the two or three sentences she uttered at her press conference. I will wait to judge the context of her reported remarks until I see the interview with her. Then, I will probably still think she is getting a raw deal all the way around.
Is she a hero? No.
Did she go to serve her country? Yes.
Was she thrust into a media circus beyond her control? Unquestionably.
Does the media distort and get things wrong all the time? Yes.

The kid got the snot beat out of her. Was badly injured. Most of her fame has been driven by the media. And she did not pose for Flynt. She is hardly white trash from what I've seen so far.

I'm not sure if it was Flynt that published them, but I do remember the source of the photos: a photographer snapped them from off the coast of the private island owned by Aristotle Onassis.

Agreed. But there would have been zero interest in any photos of her if it weren't for the media circus she has been thrust into. She was isolated from everyone for months. Can you imagine coming home to what she came home to? I can only speculate what the shock was for her.
