Well you can bet there won't be any eyewitnesses called here. The shreds of clothing found on Laci's body are shreds of the clothing she was wearing when she left the hair salon with Snott on the evening of Dec. 23rd. That fact alone clears the deck of eyewitnesses since every one of them said she was wearing what Snott said she was wearing.

Reported on MSNBC by San Goldman that the DA will not call Amber to testify at the preliminary hearing.

Remember back in Feb. when the Rocha's asked everyone to please use the police tip line at their press conference. They also put this on their website. Anyone in the Peterson clan that discarded information should be charged. All of them were on TV asking people to call their "tip line".

The public is asked not to use the toll-free telephone tip line established by Scott Peterson and his family. All leads and tips regarding Laci Peterson's disappearance should be directed to the tip line that is operated by the Modesto Police Department

I have always said she would be the key, but if it helps convict Scotty to wait until trial, I'm all for it.

I have been thinking about the fishing license and that Scott couldn't remember what he was fishing for but eventually said he was fishing for Sturgeon.

Now I don't know much about fishing but my son and son-in-law go quite often and it seems to me I have heard them say not only do you have to get a regular fishing license, but if you are going to fish for certain fish (and it seems to me Sturgeon was one of those) you have to get an additional license just for that type of fish.

You bet they should be charged. They are also complicit in his little false id name change, purchase of a different car that didn't have GPS downloaded in it and his run for the Border. The ENTIRE lot of them are guilty of aiding and abetting. Instructing girls to THROW AWAY any tip that incriminated Snotty is criminal in itself. And yes, I remember when the Laci site had that symbol and they said on TV not to call anything but the MPD tip line. Between you and me, I'd like to see the Sr. Peterson's CHARGED with a criminal offense.

Not calling Amber now is understandable. They really don't need anymore to bind him over for trial. In fact, if Peterson was smart, he'd be trying to deal right now. But being as he's a stoopid Jackass, he'll carry this all the way through until the rest of his family is bankrupt!! (Well they are already morally bankrupt but now he's going for the finacial) LOL

The Peterson tip line was a tip line that went to Scott or his Family and the detective was just trying to see how honest they would be?

I should clarify that Goldman reported that "sources close to the prosecution" informed him that Amber won't be called at the prelim.

CO, how about the fact that Scotty not only told Amber about his "dead" wife on the 9th, but also told Amber's friend, his wife was dead, on the 6th.

I'm like you, where do these TV "talking heads" get off saying there is no real evidence except the hair.

You know why it's good for Amber NOT to be used in the Prelim but in the trial itself? It's because in front of a jury Geragos and/or McAllister will NOT be able to rip her apart. It will backfire bigtime, PLUS they won't have any other transcript in which they could say, well in the Prelim you said this, and now your saying it differently!! That type thing but mostly in the Prelim they are allowed to be brutal but NOT the trial.
