I posted somewhere (we seem to have 2 threads going) that the neighbor was unsure of what he/she saw then, and what has been seen since then...
Could Scott have run the dog to the park that morning before he left, and then kept running every day so that any witness testimony could be dismissed as confused about dates?
Although given how he has confused the 23rd and 24th (by mistake or design) maybe he wouldn't have thought of that ahead of time.

just had another brain storm...maybe scott was mopping up pool water in the kitchen if he drowned laci...another reason for the smell of bleach !!! You could be right. I had the pool scenario something like this: he drugs her tea that evening, and when she is out, he drags her to the pool and just leans her head in to drown her. I think a pregnant woman in the pool would have been hard to get out. However, he needed a place to work on her, cover her with tarp, etc, and that may have been the kitchen floor.
Even the vomit on the floor, if the GHB made her sick, was enough to get out the bleach, because if she had been violently ill, he would have looked like a cad going golfing/fishing/golfing/fishing (Jack Nicholson, slap me now).

While he awaits that call to a last meal, which I am sure he would replace with a last haircut, he has 11 to 100 years (of appeals and death row) to be the best little prison arts-and-crafts coach.

I am sorry, I don't know anything about the San Luis Obispo area or the two waterways and whether they are connected or one and the same. It's so far from here (L.A. area).
I find it absolutely freaky that he would travel up to that other body of water and look in, just hours after looking into the bay where he dumped Laci. That seems obsessive to me. I would seriously use that to reopen the case of the missing coed.

How could he have thought he was NOT under surveillance? As with many other things about Scaughty, this boggles the mind. It's almost as though because HE got himself to believe he was innocent, that somehow the rest of the world must be equally in denial.
It reminds me of a cat who thinks he is hidden because his head is under a bush, but doesn't realize that his fat furry butt is sticking out in plain sight.

I am sure Scott's answer was that the jogging calmed him down from his anxiety waiting for Laci to return.
LOL again about him worried that his car door might get dinged. He has no idea how whoppingly inappropriate that concern was.
I hope Laci and Connor HAUNT him.

I hope they haunt him too!! I also hope he has to view the pictures of their DEAD BODIES in the condition that they were when they came out of the Bay!!

I was thinking about the mattress set up in front of the dining room windows....is that the marital bed? Did Scott immediately take down his and Laci's bed?
Or were the MPD that thorough that they took the furniture apart?
Seems odd somehow, those mattresses in front of the windows.

I agree hergus, that does appear odd to have the mattress up against the window. If I had to take a guess I would think it was more likely LE that took the bed apart. You can be sure they went over every inch of it.
