This idiocy is due the failure of the Courts to follow original intent, and by their continuing efforts to usurp the function of the Legislative and Executive Branches of the Government.

Most Judges are non-elected, appointed for life, attorneys who are political hacks.

Cross an attorney with a politician and what do you get? A Judge.

Link please. Very few were hippies, and even those only during their youth. Many grew to be normal members of society. If you choose the path of civil disobedience, integrity demands that you accept the consequences. The judge (rightfully in my mind) chose to disobey the rulings of the court. The consequences are his removal.

He should now focus on making permanent changes in his state to roll back the prior court decision(s).

Even if the 1st amendment is applied to the states, it's wording is plain - Congress ONLY makes laws, and laws are legislation - not arbitrary rulings by little gods in black robes.
