Cordial is diplo-speak. I always liked "That, sir, was an unfriendly act." These are usually the last words spoken before somebody jerks the string on an artillery piece.

Cavuto's right. He's right about McCain being a media whore, and he's right about being up front with people.

I remember when I entered a large public high school after eight years of a small Catholic elementary school. I remember P.E., the locker room. The seniors on either side of me, a scrawny, little kid, young for my grade (13). I remember the taunts, I remember the snapping towels. If I knew then what I know now, I would have brought to school two items: a box of cayenne pepper, and a sock full of nickels. I would have taken out those two sadistic bastards. I would have been suspended for a week, been required to undergo counseling, and NOBODY would have looked sideways at me for the next four years.

Love Neil's articles.

This guy always catches me by surprise.
I need to start a Cavuto folder.

I started reading and asked myself: who is this guy?

Where did he say that? Here we go again with the vilification of McCain. There are many others in the Senate towards whom one should appropriately show disdain before showing it towards JM.

The part about Cavuto calling McCain a media whore was tongue-in-check, yet too on the money to pass by. McCain learned years ago that the key to media adoration is to take views which the media agrees with are contrary to the Republicans. Going against your party makes a Republican a "maverick", and makes a Democrat invisible (Zell Miller).

Maybe you're right. But, McCain definetely fits the definition of 'media whore' to a T.

Just because there are a bunch of others, doesn't make calling him one wrong.

Every Republican should be on their knees thanking McCain for that. CFR strangled the Democratic Party more than any single thing done by anyone in the last 15 years, and he even convinced the Rats to back it. For his trouble, he gets called a RINO.

I love Neil, but I am BLUNT, and sometimes, it is the better part of valor, to be civil and restrained. Oh yes, and ulcers are not, not, NOT caused by stress, spicey food, or any of those other old wives' tales. Ulcers can be be caused by two things...1)a germ 2)too much aspirine/aspirine like medications...and it has to be a LOT of it taken for a long time.

Well I read it twice and don't see it - not that I disagree with you.

What "We have a cordial relationship." ='s to me is---- It should have been me instead of Bush! also-- McCain will make a run for Pres. again.

This made me think of my son who was just a little over 4ft when he went into Jr High. There was a big kid, (and I mean big, I got to see him some months later) who would walk through the halls and when he saw a little guy would walk up and slam him against the wall, hit him, whatever he could do to hurt them. He knew no-one would fight back and I think the kids were too afraid to tell on him.

One day my son came home and told me about him and asked what he should do if he picked on him. I told him to slug him and my son said that he'd get suspended from school for 3 days if he did and I told him to use his own judgement.

A few days later he came home and said that the bully had confronted him but before the bully could do anything my son let loose. He gave the bully a black eye, a bloody nose and a fat lip. Everybody was ecstatic that he did it and no-one ratted on him so he didn't get in trouble.

A while later I started substituting in the school, I got lots of respect from the guys because "her son beat up Manny Mesa!"
