Looks like the poll on the memo website is getting nailed by the DUmmies. Maybe we should do a "poll freep" thread, or add it to the title here?

I hope Jrob reads his signatures carefully before he submits. The DU Pro-Iraqui 5th column has been at work on it.

WASHINGTON (Talon News) -- The Free Republic Network launched a website on Monday that will focus on the scandal surrounding the Senate Intelligence Committee memo which detailed a Democrat plan to use classified information to defeat President Bush in 2004.

The website, www.intelmemo.com, will provide news, analysis, and research material about the memo written by a staffer for Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV). The memo scandal was first revealed by nationally syndicated radio talk show host Sean Hannity.

FRN Executive Director Robert Hahn called for Rockefeller's immediate resignation in a written statement, saying, "As ranking Democratic member of the Intelligence Committee, Senator Rockefeller is responsible for the acts of his subordinates. We cannot permit America's national security to be damaged by partisan political warfare."

Hahn cited the danger of what SIC Chairman Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) called an "attack plan" when he said, "The members of the Senate Intelligence Committee have access to our government's most sensitive secrets. The lives of America's soldiers and intelligence agents depend on their using that knowledge responsibly."

Hahn backs up his call for Rockefeller's resignation, saying, "It is now clear that certain partisan members of this vital committee have conspired to misuse their positions, influence, and access to classified information to undermine President Bush during the 2004 campaign season."

Mr. Hahn denounced the contents of the leaked memo that "describes a phony 'independent investigation' designed to let the Democrats dig through classified material -- information that should be used to improve our national security -- to support and publicize their political agenda."

Hahn added, "We agree with Senator Zell Miller that this abuse must not be tolerated, ignored, or excused, and that 'heads should roll.'"

The work of the committee has been brought to a halt as a result of the controversy. Roberts indicated that it may not meet again until Democrats disavow the memo, identify its author, and apologize to the majority. Without a voluntary admission of responsibility for the memo, a Senate Ethics probe may be necessary to discover and punish the perpetrators.

There are some things money can buy. But for the truth, there's Free Republic.

Don't let the rats get away with one more
treasonous, America-hating act!

With a little luck, we can have a response like that to the movie-hit piece of Ronald Reagan. By hook or by crook we must drag the Pubbie leadership into the battle field! This cannot stand!
