Can you convert PDF files to a format we can post on FR?? Only if it's a text PDF. If it is graphic, you need an OCR program or you're SOL.

you need an OCR program OCR(stands for?), and would that extract the text or just convert it to something like a jpg?

Folks, we're getting a little paranoid here.. Focus on the content of the memo. THAT is the important part. We are dealing with the Party of Clinton .. we need to focus on the contents in the memos as well as those who wrote them

Optical Character Recognition.... why your bank checks have the pre-printed font they have. The fat segments are 100% readable. OCR on, say, Arial font, will give 95% good read.

From what those pdfs look like, it would probably take less time to just type it all in than to play with a program like that with all the errors that would be inevitable.

ORC is standard software fair for anyone who has a scanner. ABBYY FineReader 5.0 Sprint came with my scanner, and it's okay.
I s'pose someone can scan it and upload it to an html file for a thread here on FR...

Most likely somebody is goning have to print it first, and then scan it to pull it into the OCR program.
