Of course you won't find many dates who meet the criteria. Probably none. Most of the women who could answer correctly are already into committment, have a family, wouldn't be dating anyway due to already having a life.

I wish you were being pessimistic, but I tend to agree with you. I've been seriously considering moving up to Alaska. Lots of space up there -- I don't like feeling hemmed in by people. Not a lot of women up there, but who knows, I might have BETTER luck finding reasonably conservative women up there than in any city in the lower 48.

Nobody referenced in the article is a bred in NY New Yorker. The writer's a Brit, the date's an Israeli. They are just two of the supreme bozos who come here bringing their fantasies about the place and then after less than six months claim to be real New Yorkers. They flock here from all over, UK, SA, EU, San Francisco, you name the liberal hell as place of origin and we got'em. The heartland has cow-pies, we've got these guys.

Go to Russia or any of the former USSR Eastern bloc countries, find a beautiful Orthodox woman with an education. She will be loyal, supportive, pro-life, conservative, disciplined and desirous of having a family. Make sure she has plenty of family support when you bring her back because she will be otherwise be lonely and/or homesick.

After you have done so, make sure all your former liberal dates see what you've done, then watch their heads spin around as their faces turn purple with frustration and rage.

Treat her with respect and you will live a life happily ever after.

PS - You could also do this in a flyover state but you would have to consider moving to rural surroundings. Good American women more often than not prefer those surroundings.

Tell me about it. My wife laughs at these types of women who think that they can find "love on a list". Inevitably they seem to just keep asking questions until they finally hear an excuse to "reject before being rejected", as well as getting to go be the center of attention to their remaining friends when they whine about how bad their last date was.

What I find most telling about this woman is that even though she drops what seems like several dozen hints in this short column to insure the reader knows she travels amongst the veddy veddy important Manhattan media circles - a subculture which is quite sizable - she's forced to rely on blind dates for any hope whatsoever of finding a partner. She's literally exhausted her entire Rolodex, except to ask for referrals.

I mean, I've gone on two blind dates in my life, the first time because I didn't know any better, and the second time because I apparently needed to learn firsthand the old adage, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." In any case, I figured it out by age 20.
