On Election Night, 1960, I watched the returns trickle in to Huntley and Brinkley on a black-and-white TV set at an American University fraternity house in Washington. I was an almost 18-year-old college freshman, and Dwight Eisenhower was the only president I had been aware of.
The results would not be determined until the next day, but when they were (and even with the tampered ballot boxes in Cook County, Ill. the "hanging chad" scandal of that day) John Fitzgerald Kennedy was declared the winner over Vice President Richard Nixon.

...In the End...
...JFK deserves our America's Gratitude for his inspiring US to beat the Communists in the Race to put a Man on the Moon in the 1960's...
...despite his not being all that he appeared to be at the time.

Would we have degenerated into the kind of culture war we are engaged in today had Kennedy lived?
--------------------------------
I hate to ask you to part with the fond illusions of your youth, Cal, but Kennedy was the fountainhead of the cultural war in this country. He was the first Bill Clinton. --a genuine manipulative psychopath who would jump up to five women a day, sometimes several at the same time. He personally sent $250,000 bag of money to the mob to fix elections. Those were his better qualities.

This week on The History Channel it was revealed, at least I was not aware of it, that JFK himself had an affair with a White House Intern during his Presidency.
His 1st private comment to his White House Staff when he got off Air Force One in Hawaii was...
.."OK, where's the Broads..?"
Instead of going to Dallas upon hearing about his brother's Death ROBERT KENNEDY went immediately to the 2nd Floor Private Residence of the White House to confiscate the Secret Service Sign-In Logs of JFK's private visitors ...for very god reason. It's now the Property of the JFK Presidential Library.

I wasn't aware of any interns. He was humping national TV reporter Nancy Fickerson, who gave him good press. He was humping Jackie's secretary, Pam Turnure, who looked a lot like Jackie. He and mob boss Sam Giancanna were sharing Judith Exner, who was also the courier delivering payoffs to the mob from Kennedy. Ther were two other secretaries, code named Fiddle and Faddle who he'd nail on coffee breaks. He'd also have ladies of the night brought in for group sex with him. Jackie didn't know what she was marrying. One of her sisters, or half-sisters said that after a year of their marriage "she looked like the survivor of an airplane crash." She wasn't a very happy womam.

...Yup, the History Channel did report that JFK had an Affair with a White House Intern over and above his Fiddle & Faddle Secretaries. Come to think of it, that's the woman from New York who recently admitted to having it starting when she was 19 years old.
...I remember at the time how we and the Media treated Fiddle & Faddle as cute inside White House jokes, as in neat working so close to JFK. Nar a smidgeon of any JFK Affair was aluded to. His "Catholic" Heritage was therefore never questioned.

He was also seeing a scandanavian hottie who had East German connections.

...About a week or two before JFK's Death American TV Networks had TV Cameras stationed outside this East German Spy's family farm house in Europe where she was holed up, the image of which was on all our TV Screens. RFK had quickly gotten her outta Town, USA, but not out of TV Camera range it seems.
...It was a true news story. A dangerous one for JFK and for the Members of Congress who she had also been very busy with before JFK. (Hersch)
...In the Fall of 1963 the fleeing Sister-in-Law of a then threatened South Vietnam President DIEM arrived in Los Angeles with her daughter on her way to her new permanent residence in Paris, France. In her Los Angeles TV Press Conference Madamne "Dragon Lady" Nhu said that if her Brother-in-Law DIEM and her own husband were suddenly killed in South Vietnam, and they were in early November 1963, it was all JFK's fault and that he would soon come to the same End.
...Something, perhaps, that didn't fall on deaf ears to one already angry LEE HARVEY OSWALD..?
