Strong majority oppose same-sex marriage

So what!?? Judges are royalty and can make any laws they feel necessary for we commoners, as they are "closer" to God!

Gay marriage=oxymoron!

If a majority supported same sex marriage then they wouldn't have to use the courts to implement it, would they?

It doesn't matter what the people think; it's what judges think. Congressional Republicans and "moderate" dems are too spineless to push a constitutional amendment through.

I think your chart is off in regard to the Republican numbers.

Somewhat off, but it should be 19 support; 72 oppose; 9 are in la la land. A resounding "back in the closet to you" by Repubs.

Totally agree. Leftist Dems know they are no longer a national party, so they must keep the courts leftist or the agenda will fail.

The Dems must get offshore funding for their campaigns, as well, and the Dem agenda is now reduced to spoiling anything the oppostion may champion. It's a rather scary situation: offshore money promotes treasonous policies; obstructivism make governance impossible, while a liberal judiciary continues to be missionaries for the culture of death and anti-family interpretations of laws written when "family" was not a questionmark.

Income tax: not to worry. It will always be a tiny percentage and only the rich will ever be made to pay.

Seat belts: not to worry. They are only a suggestion, they will always be voluntary. It's silly to even think that you will ever be ticketed or arrested for not wearing one.

Golden Gate Bridge: not to worry. The amazing thing is that once it's paid for, and a reserve collected, it will be free forever!

The Gay perversion: not to worry. it's just about acceptance. Toleration. It's not asking much.

Nanny government: not to worry. We're here to hep you!

JohnHuang2;

The numbers are lying. Look at this:

support
34+30+19 = 83
83/3 = 27 2/3, not the 31% claimed

opposed
54+54+72 = 180
180/3 = 60, not the 55% claimed

la la loiters
12+16+9 = 37
37/3 = 12 1/3, not the 14% claimed

What am I missing?

27 2/3% support Phaggotry, LESS THAN the 31% claimed

60% opposed Phunny Phellers, MORE THAN the 55% claimed

12 1/3% have no mind, LESS THAN the 14% claimed

Somebody's played with the numbers again.

YOU HAVE HIT THE NAIL PRECISELY ON THE HEAD!!!!!! You have an article for us right there. Yes!

Don't dismiss judges being royalty either, because if you or anyone else looks into this--it's the craziest stuff you'll find, and it's real =-(

What am I missing?

I would imagine that they didn't have an equal number of people in each group, so that the total percentage is weighted by the size of each sample.

You are making the assumption(mistaken) that there were an equal number of Dems, Republicans, and independents in the poll. The numbers most definitely show that there were very few Republicans included in the poll since the dems and the I's both opposed by 54% and the 72% of Republicans could only move the total by 1%. I don't have time to work it out, but the numbers would have to be something like 1200 dems and I's and the other 145 R's.

Yeah, they SHOULD get back in their closets.

I remember when the (stated) homosexual agenda was "just leave us alone in the privacy of our bedrooms."

That's prolly right. I used each percentage and combined them to derive the number I had; I didn't consider how the liberal left plays the numbers game. My bad....
