One can't help but think that when these two men look each other in the eyes, it's all about TRUST...TOTAL, COMPLETE TRUST...PM Tony Blair can TRUST President Bush...no hesitation....President Bush can TRUST PM Tony Blair...no hesitation. And I think for the sake of the "free world" this is a good thing!

Bump! Mrs. Bush has sense and taste and class, and clearly supports the best in the President. Remember he quit drinking because he knew he was doing wrong by his wife!
She looks very elegant and appropriate in these pictures ... something to strive for when I'm older and don't have to be washable all the time :-).

She's not Jackie Kennedy
- of the Kennedys I probably admire Jackie the most, difficult background (any kid of Black Jack Bouvier is going to have "issues"), a strong character who made the best of it, but Northeast Old Blood all the way.
Mrs. Bush is a quintessential Southern Lady, a horse of quite a different color. Her blood isn't particularly blue, farmers and merchants with a doctor or two along the way, but that's never been a bar to being a Southern Lady. She does have one Revolutionary Ancestor, which gives cachet.
My grandmother was the most ladylike Southern Lady you could ever have seen, and her dad was a plumber (her mom, however, was descended from the brother of a Signer. Lots of Southern blue blood comes through the distaff side.)
