Judge Mertel made the right decision. This is just one of millions of examples when defense attorneys try to cloud the jury's mind with "reasonable doubt" so a couple of perps can walk. In this case, they want to take the spotlight off two defendents accused of extremely heinous murders by blaming it on some secret conspiracy by al-Fuqra.

In December 2001, Malvo's mother, Uma James called the Bellingham Police Department to complain about a man she said had been harassing her teenage son, Lee Boyd Malvo. The man, John Muhammad, was spending an inordinate amount of time with the boy, then 16, to the point where she believed she needed the police to enforce her rights as a mother. The man and boy were living together in a local mission, and the man was representing himself as Malvo's father or stepfather. The police responded to the complaint, which they deemed a custodial dispute, the evening of Dec. 19. "He was overwhelming the kid," said a federal source familiar with the case. "The mother was trying to protect her son. So she called the police." Was there a homosexual relationship between the man and the boy?

Earlier reports that Muhammad was the boy's stepfather were wrong. The federal immigration investigation into the incident turned up "no parental right or claim by this guy." "In fact, it's not even quite clear how he got involved with this family," the source said. "But, clearly, he did." James had traveled all the way from Florida to Bellingham to retrieve her son from the influence of Muhammad.

In the course of their investigation, according to the federal source, Bellingham police became suspicious about the woman's status in the U.S. They called Border Patrol agents and determined the mother and son were illegally in the country. Both were taken into custody.

In January 2002, a month after mother and son were arrested in Bellingham, James posted a $1,500 bond and was released from INS custody. Because her son was a juvenile with no criminal history and not considered a flight risk, he was released without bond into his mother's custody.

The Black Muslims are seeking reparations - this means millions of dollars transferred to Faraconman. They are generally after money although they have been involved in the Zebra killings and several other violent attacks. At their inception, part of their religion involved human sacrifice and then eating the object of this practice - this according to FBI documents in the on-line reading room. Call Hanah Rosenthal who now runs JCPA and demand actions like rallies that America should deport members of radical Moslem groups since most are not citizens. Also that the colleges where much of this anti-Israel and anti-America activity takes place in a loose coalition of Moslem extremists revolutionary communists. The campuses JDO predicted would become the breeding ground for this. So all campus official groups like Moslem Student Association that attends "Death to Israel" and "Death to America" rallies should be banned in each campus by the college presidents. The recent riot against Jewish students by Moslem radicals is a case in point.

Your position is nothing else but an unconditional support to police and government abuses. You already decided these 2 guys are guilty without even waiting for the trial to finish. Someone is not guilty, even of heinous crimes, for the only reason he might be accused.

If I was to take your words for granted, I would think there is no need for trials. Just believe the police and prosecution, all the time. And save time and energy, don`t wait and just hang any accused individual because there is no need to prove their guilt.

And, all this without saying that judge Mertel, by his ruling, prevents the jurors to decide by themselves if a piece of evidence is credible or not.

Finally, I suggest you to look at little more closely and pay attention to the police methods over that case. But maybe you think it is acceptable and normal that police officers get confessions after posing as crime lords and threatening someone to kill him and his relatives if he doesn't confess having committed a crime.

It took me a while to see where you were going with this. You are thinking that the execution style murders could have been the work of Muhammed and Malvo. Maybe, but the case against the son and his friend looks pretty good. I do think that there were some ties to Al Fuqra suggested in the sniper case, though.

Eva, I don't know what makes you think the case against Rafay and Burns "looks pretty good". Do you seriously believe that the prosecution's evidence is credible, while everybody knows that they extracted false confessions (unless you think that death threats are acceptable police tactics as a way to make someone confess crimes)? You are better looking very carefully at this very complicated case, and I doubt that if you're an honest citizen, you will be reassured bu the methods used by the police against Burns and Rafay.

There is no indication here that any false confessions were "extracted." Some defense-hired psychologist CLAIMING that SOME people COULD make false confessions does not make it so in this case, nor in any other. Psychology is not a science, in spite of people trying to claim that it is.

I don't see where there is any proof in this article that cops made death threats against these people. The suspect's confession was to people they believed were partners in crime, apparently. The article says they believed the agents to whom they were speaking were mobsters, not the fuzz - hardly a 'confession' in the traditional sense, more like being too gabby to shady fellow private citizens, which is what they thought the agents were, as opposed to the good cop bad cop routine down at police HQ with the bright light and one way mirror thing.
