@ about 1:15 on today's show Rush was talking about the Michael Jackson fiasco. He seemed to focus upon the possibility that this whole thing is the result of blackmail.
Anyways, He repeated it several times as if to tell us that is what is happening to him...
Anyone else hear this? Or am I hearing things?

In all probability, both MJ and Rush need to feel the sting of the law's whip.
What else needs to be said?
To: jbstrick
That was the message

Could be, that crossed my mind also.
Actually I'm glad you made this post, I was looking for someone listening. Did you catch the the source, title or author of the piece he just was talking about? The one about the Republicans abandoning conservative, reduce government principles?

I heard it too and I've thought from the beginning of the Rush fiasco that someone was trying to blackmail him. When one has money and power they're a ripe target for nut jobs looking for a buck!

FWIW, you can only be blackmailed if you yourself supply the material.
....now where did I put those photos....

Seemed that way to me. Recall Jackson, like McCains wife, had an addiction to painkillers and sought treatment. Though Rush was going out of his way with implications
bearing on ginned up accusations. Good catch.

Rush has been using the Jackson case as a way of drawing certain parallels

The other day Rush was talkng about a Drudge headline about Kerry staffers being overheard discussing their guy. Drudge said in his piece that in the spirit of the holidays he wouldn't reveal his source.
Rush countered that he knew the source wasn't his maid cause Drudge story looked true.

What I was thinking: "I wish Rush would get off this stupid Michael Jackson case."What else should he talk about?
Seriously, not much happening the day before Thanksgiving.
I'm surprised he's even on.
In past years, whenever I was traveling on this day, I always had to listen to a taped repeat of one of his previous broadcasts on the car radio.

Michael Jackson is undeniably weird, if not insane.
Still, it could be possible that he fraternizes with screwed up kids because they fit into his Neverland fantasy world, and the relationships are platonic, and that the parents see a blackmail angle.
Apparently these parents won a $200,000 settlement after they stole from a store and the security guards roughed them up.

In this day and age, just the suggestion of wrong doing is enough to be branded as doing wrong. Truth has little to do with it.

Rush countered that he knew the source wasn't his maid cause Drudge story looked true. I caught that one too. Just as he left for a break. He never said anything else about it.

Yep. He's been doing a *lot* of that lately.
Today's was *very* obvious, as well.

"Has Rush mentnioned Marta name since he came back?" That is what I like to know.
To: Willie Green
Well, just before the break he was reading from an article on how the
"Pilgrims Canned Communism".
Now he's saying "Happy Thanksgiving" and thanking the audience...
Rush: "I'm in the process of learning how to touch others."
Hmmm...
