They would also wish everyone who voted for President Bush dead too. I think that's a bit much. That's limited to the wackjobs like Michael Moore, who actually wrote on his website September 12, 2001 that Al Qaeda obviously devised the deadly plot because of Bush, and he didn't understand why the terrorists struck a city that went Gore in the election instead of one of the "red states."

"Does the New York Times wish the President dead?" I hate to even think such a thing, but it sure seems like a lot of liberals DO have some kind of death wish for President Bush!
You know, I was about to say that in my childhood, such sentiments were unthinkable, but then I recalled the hatred liberals felt (and still feel) for Richard Nixon. Why some of them must wish they could dig him up, and kill him again!

The press would have deliberately leaked the info to the enemy's willing ear, waited for AF One to be shot down, and the eulegised Dubya as a lunatic for going to a war zone, and idolized their murdered collegues as heroes.Unfortunately, I fear that's all too true.

Heck, they were all whiny about how we were picking on the poor misunderstood Taliban, and then Daniel Pearl was abducted and murdered.
For a few days they were all, "How brutish of them!"
Then they turned around and portrayed Pearl as a martyred herro for their cause.

Kudos! You're famous.Woohoo!
Thanks for the pings, folks. I made a goofy remark off the cuff; it's good to see TooGood got some mileage out of it.

You only have to listen to Daniel Shor for two minutes to know the hatred for Nixon is alive and well and all consuming.
When the left finished demonizing Nixon, they moved on to Reagan, and then completed the tri-fecta with constant attacks on Dan Quayle.
They've begun anew with Dubya but it's just not working this time and serves only to make them seem irrational bordering on insane.

News people love catastrophes. It gives them something to do, makes them look important, and provides a shot at a Pulitzer. In the case of the NY Times being a conduit for Marxist propaganda and being an accomplice in mass murder is Pulitzer Prize winning behavior (Duranty covering up for the murder of 7 million Ukrainian private farmers by Stalin).

The NY Times is run by sworn enemies of the United States. Traitors to their rotten core.If you call them that, they'll sue you (which is why interviewers always try to sucker Annie Coulter into naming names), but in private, I guarantee you, they rejoice at thinking of themselves as traitors. But their loyalty is to no one in particular, just whoever happens to be America's enemy.

The liberals want us to pull out of Iraq and cede the country to the terrorists (Al Queda or the UN, take your pick).Nice touch, Leni -- the U.N. is the biggest terrorist organization we've yet to go after.

As per your astute analysis, we see the astonishing spectacle of left wing elitists de facto supporting IslamoFascists.
