There may yet be a job at the Times for Howard Kurtz. And there should surely be some sort of payoff in the offing for Tom Rosenstiel, the director of the Project for Excellence in Journalism. According to Kurtz, Rosenstiel criticized the White House correspondents who made the trip without spilling the secret. That's just not kosher, he said. Reporters are in the business of telling the truth. They can't decide it's okay to lie sometimes because it serves a larger truth or good cause. What does the NY Slimes know about 'Truth?' ...

The anti Americans who own and control the NY slimes, LA Slimes, Washington compost and ABCNNBCBS would love to see our president killed by an Iraqi or anyone.
None of these anti American Individuals and anyone who works for them should ever be trusted with any data that could harm our president, his cabinet and our military.
Also there about 48 Rat senators and 4 Rino senators in our senate who should never be trusted with any data where the safety of our president and our military could be at peril if the data was disclosed.

Excellent column. BTW, Frank Bruni's book on President Bush is pretty good.

"Pinch was a political activist in the Sixties, and was twice arrested in anti-Vietnam protests. One day, the elder Sulzberger asked his son ..., If an American soldier runs into a North Vietnamese soldier, which would you like to see get shot? Young Arthur answered, 'I would want to see the American get shot. It's the other guy's country.' No matter what the eventual Democrat nominee for president says as he/she tries to run back to the center to capture independent voters, that candidate will always be beholden to his/her left-wing constituency which holds the views expressed by Pinch Sulzberger about Vietnam. Thus, a Democrat as president could never adequately defend the United States inside or outside our borders.

The NYT has achieved fame as the Pulitzer Prize-winning paper where reporters make stuff up without actually bothering to travel or talk with eyewitnesses. It wasn't necessary to waste a seat on a NYT reporter.
