GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- The arrest of a convicted rapist in the disappearance of a college student produced no immediate breakthrough yesterday in the search for the young woman, but the police chief vowed: "Dru, we will find you."

In the first hours of her disappearance I heard she was getting phone calls from a "Foreign speaking" male at work. I wonder if this guy was lusting around the Victoria's Secret Store and fixated on her...

You may be on to something. I pray they find her soon -- alive and well.

I never get these cases like this where the perp is captured but law enforcement says they haven't figured out what happened to the victim. If they have the perp, can they not GET that information out of him?

Someone on another thread, on another subject, suggested the method: Drop dude's gonads into a bowl of water and sit his a$$ outside in the subfreezing cold. The poster assured readers that this person would withold nothing in short order.

A find Dru bump! I agree. I haven't heard how they are tying the perp to her, but as her cell phone was briefly used and then left on, my guess is they've got a fingerprint from that or her car.

As a side note: in one of the other threads there was a lot of talk about the perp being Latino. In my experience the average Mexicano has NO patience for this sort of creep. If freezing his nards doesn't do the trick, I bet someone can volunteer a nest of fire-ants and a big jar of honey. :)
