Doesn't matter. Bush has won this issue already. So much so that the Dims have trolled Islamists for support and said that the war on terror at home is unjust.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that they have a lot to gain by keeping the alerts tweaked up near max; by increasing the 'cry wolf' phenomena; by increasing confusion; by increasing alert fatigue . . .
As I recall, there was another tape flashed about on Al-Qaeda type websites which overtly said that was part of their strategy--to generate alert fatigue etc.
Therefore what?
Alertness is still vital, essential and a lot better than being obliterated unnecessarily because of apathy and being asleep at the switch.

Me too.
I attribute that to 2 things:
A) tons of prayer.
B) Bush is doing a good job directing efforts to thwart such.
However, sooner probably than later, such prayers and efforts will not be sufficient.

Why do you think it is that only CNN was given this info? Who is this so called source? My feeling is that if this were true you would be able to find the story on other news networks. My bottom line:: No one else is reporting this and I feel CNN is trying to slow down the holiday spending to make Bush look bad.

The script is already written. It goes like this:
"The new attacks on US soil are the direct result of the Bush Admins' illegal and immoral foreign policy. Only reaching out to the Islamonazis, taking a law enforcement approach to terrorism, and submitting to UN control can end the terrorist threat."
The media would then make up content that justifies and then proves these assertions.
The jig is up. We know their nature and what they are capable of.
