But if, in a second Bush term, America finds, after years of bloody endless guerrilla war, we must leave Iraq and let Baghdad fall to chaos and civil war, or into the hands of anti-American radicals, America will suffer a defeat greater than Vietnam. Should that happen, George W. Bush will be seen as a failed president, convicted of a hubristic march of folly for sending an army into Mesopotamia, ignorant of history and the almost-certain consequences.
World-class assumtion jumping here.
I'd like to say I expect better of Pat..but I can't.

What's funny is that there are still a few on this site who claim to be conservatives who can't just be intellectually honest in protecting this Administration.
They have signed on to the Trotskyite Global Democratic Revolution and promises of Heaven on Earth and seem perfectly willing to sacrifice the conservative agenda in order to build a welfare state in Iraq.
