There never was a clear strategy on how to handle the scandal problems and poor Al got caught with no easy solution. Boy, would I have loved to be a fly on the wall at their last meeting after the 2000 election. I'm quite sure the conversation was colorful...to say the least. Sure there was...but Klintoon was too much of a narcissist. Klintoon should have stepped down for the good of his party, when he was impeached. Gore should have stepped up and looked saintly, but he was too timid and never had any real leadership. He let the Klintoons run all over him. Gore should have stuck with his more moderate views...he would have been in a perfect position to take control, but instead he was listened to leftist lies and they burned him.

Dick Morris = Master of the Obvious....jeesh.

Here's one for the tin-foil hatters:
The king-makers for the Dims and the pubbies have gotten together and agreed to run Hillary Clinton vs Condi Rice in 2008, to insure we have a female president.

Dean gets nomination, Bore gets DNC Chair, clintoons get squat. Then we get to watch some real in-fighting.

A three-way race with Hildabeast, Howdy Deanie, and Bush, would guarantee a Bush victory. I don't see such a scenario playing out, though, unless the Dims decide to write off 2004 in big letters.

She sees the decade-long reign of sanity in the Democratic Party leadership coming to an end... The decade from '93-'03 when the toons were driving the Democrat boat and calling all of the shots. Dean is definitely a threat to their control over the party. IMO, a good deal of Dean's momentum is backlash against the toons--he's the "anti-clinton".

Look at the NH polls. The support Weasely Clark has been getting has come from the other candidates, not Dean. Clark's getting into the race has only improved Dean's chances.

I agree, but it could be the only way Hillary could take control of the party. She'd destroy it so she could remake it.

Algore is in this for himself. He wants the oval office so bad he can taste it. He knows that in '08 he will have to go against Hitlery. He's hoping that if Dean gets the nomination McAwful is OUT of the DNC and with him goes the klintooon control. This, amazingly, has nothing to do with the '04 election. This is positioning for the '08 DNC nomination. Boy, o boy, what fun this is gonna be to watch.
