beit trollup, girlie man or a combination of your preference.

Darn...............Finally a voice of reason!!!!!!

Danke, GrandMoM.

I thought it all was just in fun last evening. We had some laughs last evening, and thank you, GrandMoM, for your understanding!

I respect FR,extremely highly, and for this "onyx" to think differently, is seemingly insulting and foolish. Bless FR.

my Theasaurus doesn't have it. My crossword dictionary says Tinsel and my big dictionary says ...glittering with or as with gold or silver; tinseled. Imitation gold leaf: tinsel pronounced (kling'kent) but the e in kent is upside down. So how do you pronounce it? and tho I LOVED your defination, this one doesn't compute.

1. What is the name and year of your Thesaurus?

2. "tinsel" - check out the first post on this thread.

3. "pronounced (kling'kent) but the e in kent is upside down. So how do you pronounce it?" - Hillary! ;)

4."I LOVED your defination" - yes it certainly fits. Seriously, we all know that the representation of word definitions DO change over the decades and centuries. Personally, I trust the older source books for real truth. Today, words are changing so fast it's ridiculous, mostly because of PC. (I remember when "criticism" was a college English course I took in the mid 60's, and back then "criticism" was a GOOD thing - it meant analysis and examination!)(God, I remember when to be judgemental was a GOOD thing!)

Anyhow, most of my reference books are ones I have been given by my very wise grandparents. To sum it up, a 1970 Roget's tells the truth --- Hillary is surely a CLINQUANT, a fake, cheat, sham, phony, imposter!

"Ditto"

"It was somewhat a hoot, IMO.....yes it was and might I add harmless!!!!" -- post #35.

It was all in fun, which seemingly you failed to understand.

Perhaps you should go arrest someone for jay-walking on a desolate rural road today.

Btw Peach, I have the greatest respect for FreeRepublic. It is the greatest website in the nation, IMHO. And in the future, I will try to be careful not to wound fragile sensibilities of folks such as you.

Give it a rest.

If your post had been so pure, it would not have been yanked by the Admin. Moderator.

I saw it before it was yanked and it was the most sexually suggestive post I've ever seen on FR and most inappropriate.

You're right. It was suggestive, and I had second and third thoughts about posting it.

And along those lines, may I ask you something that I've wondered about here for years as a "lurker"? Why are posters permitted to write things like "f***ing liberals" or "b**w job", etc.? I really think that type of thing is MUCH MORE SUGGESTIVE than what I wrote. Seriously, I have always thought that those types of things, which we see here every day, are not appropriate.

Take care!

If you have problems with inappropriate posts, you are always free to hit the abuse button or communicate with the moderators of the site.

I would prefer as well that posters refrain from swearing, even if only using *** to do it.

I lean toward not squealling on someone. Not much offends me.

Come to think of it, and I'm quite serious about this, the thing that DOES offend me the MOST, is being misunderstood by others, or seeing someone being falsely accused. THAT really angers me! I hate injustice more than anything, and that is why I get crazy over the injustice of the mainstream media.

I'm 57 years old, and was always taught that news institutions (print and electronic) were for reporting truth. They were to be "the watchdog". They were to keep everyone straight, to be an aid to the country! Now they (the mainstream media) are merely "the enablers" of the left, and they are the greatest enemy of this country, IMO. (In the older days, many newspapers used to have the words, "thou shall not bear false witness" in the top corner of their front pages. It would be good to see again!)

The way the mainstream media protects and promotes the Democrats makes me furious. That is INJUSTICE.

I feel better now. :) Take care.

You need to spare us the confusion of having to tease out your thoughts from your sexually oriented and voyeuristic imagination.

" the confusion of having to tease out your thoughts" ......... Your sentence structure is less than adroit. Try singing.
