You got it, partner...the code of a real cowboy: Never brag. Make the magnificent seem routine.
I love that....

There is a museum in Austin, Texas with an exhibit covering half a floor labelled: It ain't braggin' if it's true!

I love Peggy!
Yesterday, I was going through old video tapes and I found one of another great woman whom we all loved, Barbara Olson. I was startled for a moment watching her, so alive, so brilliant as she spoke about Chandra Levy and Gary Condit. It was as if a ghost from the past was visiting my television screen.
We got him Barbara! This one is for you! Somehow, I hope you know.

Glad to know I was not alone. I added the God Bless our Troops this morning with my usual welcome to our congregation. What a great morning.

You're right. President Bush doesn't need to "lord this over the world". I was thinking one thing while typing another. I was thinking he should be celebrating his victory, but instead it came out wrong. Maybe it's a Freudian typo. My bad.

"Beautiful - and a TK bump!"
Peggy Noonan is worth every cent they pay her and more.
But...for this moment in time, Mr. Keith captures the inner thoughts of that posse of good guys with Iraqi soil on their boots.
What the hay...lets have repeat a few of the best lines:
We got too many gangsters doing dirty deeds
too much corruption and crime in the streets
It's time the long arm of the law put a few more in the ground
Send 'em all to their maker and he'll settle 'em down
You can bet he'll set 'em down
Cause
Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we'll sing a victory tune
And we'll all meet back at the local saloon
And we'll raise up our glasses against evil forces singing
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
whiskey for my men, beer for my horses
