10 Euro per person for the Iraqi resistance
Pravda English Forum ^ | Dec. 14, 2003 | Johnathan R. Galt

Is 10 Euros too much to ask?

If you'd like to help contribute to the killing of American, British, Spanish, Italian, Polish, ... soldiers (maybe the kids of your next door neighbor, maybe your own brothers and sisters) and maybe some Iraqi 'collaborators', UN, or Japanese humanitarian aid workers -- these people want to help.

Bank account at bottom.

10 Euro per person for the Iraqi resistance

Three months have passed since emperor G. W. Bush declared the end of hostilities in Iraq. The rapid success of the US forces over the Iraqi army - due to the capitulation of the high command right at the crucial moment of the defence of Baghdad - made the Anglo-Americans believe to have achieved a total victory. Taking over Baghdad they made of the words of the information minister. Now it is our turn to expose their arrogance to ridicule.

Not even finished, the war started again. Only a few days after the collapse of the Iraqi army guerrilla forces began attacking the mercenaries of the occupation forces. They keep inflicting them losses which are of high political and morale value. Among the US bionic soldiers fear is spreading. As Beirut and Mogadishu already have proved, high tech equipment is not enough to win a war.

Already hundreds of fighters are involved in the armed resistance movement and the tide keeps rising. Despite the media's attempts to discredit the guerrillas it is evident that they got ample popular support. Children are exulting in front of destroyed US vehicles, while the occupiers thought that they would be waved with stars and stripes banners.

Now they find themselves in a quagmire which could tern into a new Vietnam. However, for the oppressed peoples the resistance is a dream. They hope that one day the occupants will be forced to leave not only from Iraq. We share this hope and want to support it with our militant solidarity.

We therefore invite all the anti-imperialists who oppose the American Empire without any ideological and religious precondition to start an international collection of funds supporting the Iraqi national resistance movement: we ask every person to donate 10 euros. The Iraqi national resistance front in formation will decide upon their utilisation.

Committees, political, social and cultural organisations as well as individuals who endorse this proposal are asked to contact us. Our aim is to build an international popular campaign in support of the Iraqi resistance which also implies the creation of the appropriate international body.

For information and adhesion to that campaign please contact us.

THANK YOU 3rdWorldMoron!

THANK YOU 3rdWorldMoron!

For bringing this site to my attention.

Italy and Spain are coalition forces. They will be VERY interested in getting BANK accounts of people contributing to the enemy.

Now I'm going to go to work and do some serious butt kicking.

I'll start by getting them kicked off the internet. Hmmmm, registered in Italy hosted in Lisle Illinois in the good ol' USA. Shouldn't be too hard.

Italian group backs Iraq fighters

Tamsin Smith

BBC reporter in Rome

, Monday, 17 November, 2003

A group of Italian militants involved in staging anti-war protests is raising funds to support the armed Iraqi resistance, the BBC has learned.

The discovery comes as Italy mourns 19 men killed in a suicide attack in Iraq last week.

The "Antiimperialista" organisation's internet campaign asks people to send "10 Euros to the Iraqi resistance".

They say they have collected 12,000 euros ($14,165) in the past eight weeks and admit the money used could be used to buy weapons.

The Antiimperialistas are a group of European anti-war and anti-globalisation supporters.

Nineteen Italians were killed in last week's suicide attack in Nasiriya

They are currently organising an anti-war demonstration in Italy next month, and it remains to be seen whether news of the fund-raising activities will deter more moderate anti-war activists from attending.

The organisation's Italian branch says the money will be given to an Iraqi resistance group known as the Iraqi Patriotic Opposition.

Independent Iraqi sources in London say the leaders of this group have a long history of association with the Baath party and are now back in Iraq supporting the armed resistance.

The Italian spokesman of the antiimperialistas, Moreno Pasquinelli, says the money collected so far is in an Italian bank account.

Mr Pasquinelli said it would be taken to Iraq in January. He was candid when asked about raising money for the Iraqi Patriotic Opposition which says it actively supports military resistance.

To think there are people in Italy collecting money in order to kill our heroes is really a shame
Lucio Malan
Forza Italia Party

"Its not our affair how they use this money. If they want to use it to print papers for example, or to buy weapons in order to fight for the Iraqi independence," he said.

"We support the armed struggle in Iraq. our money is to help them, it doesn't matter to us if they use it buy weapons, Kalashnikovs, or medicines for people."

When asked to confirm if the money raised could be used to buy weapons he admitted: "Yes they could, and why not?"

Shame

The Italian Interior Ministry refused to comment, saying the matter was with the security services.

Lucio Malan, a senator from the governing Forza Italia Party, was shocked to hear about the campaign.

"The first word that comes to my mind is shame and horror," he told BBC Radio Four's Today programme.

The campaign contrasts with the mood of mourning in Italy

"They are raising money against people (Italian troops) who are defending the peace, the security of the people of that country. They have not killed or wounded anyone in that country they are helping to take away unexploded bombs."

He said the group's activities "collecting money to give it outspokenly to terrorist groups" was certainly illegal in Italy.

Isn't this money subject to seizure under the laws passed in the wake of 9/11 to seize bank accounts that are aiding terrorism?

Thanks for exposing those engaged in treason and terrorist-sponsorship.

It is truly vile.

These hypocrites talk about 'no blood for oil'. How about ...
No BLOOD MONEY FOR TERRORISM.

Yes, and on that basis, it's a gift to the US taxpayer, so long as these fools manage to raise a bit more than it costs to investigate and seize....

But I wouldn't bet on that. $14K will hardly buy a decent car, let alone a decent ammo and weapons stash.

No, not yet. It's only been a few hours.

3rdWorldMoron is just one of hundreds of communists, neo-nazis, Islamists, IndyMediods, lib-bots, skinheads, and other blithering idiots which you may talk to on the Pravda forum.

However, there are also many intelligent conservative and libertarian voices which make for interesting conversation.

Pravda Forums make FreeRepublic look like a Sunday School picnic.

After spending several hours there, I can say one thing: Thank Gawd FreeRepublic has Admins!

12,000 euros ($14,165) means 1200 have broken the law.

That's not really very many people, considering that we're talking EUROPE here.

This is like anti-war protests being photographed to try to make them look bigger than they are.

I bet this was NOT 10 Euros at a time after all anyway. ;-)

Eh? Why was I pinged to this thread? I don't remember being added to this list (not that I object)...

But regardless, this story gets my blood boiling every time I read an article about it. This whole anti-imperialism movement, along with various other movements, is a huge sham. If they really mean to help the Iraqi people, then they ought to donate that money to relief programs or reconstruction.

The way it is now, that money's going to go to terrorists who kill indiscriminately. Coalition troops who're over there trying to help the Iraqis may get hurt. Their fellow Italians may get hurt. The Iraqi people may get hurt.

Not that they care. They oppose imperialism just for the sake of opposing imperialism.
