Well, lets not forget about poor Saddam.
Ya know, he has feelings too, maybe a way
can be found to abuse every one of them.

Why should he pay if the informant was under interrogation?

He said soldier, not informant..

When the time is right and the people in charge have sorted it out, Bruce will honor his promise. I'm sure he won't forget the soldier or the informant (if he turns out to be on the up and up).

(What was Demi thinking when she wanted a split???)

It was just a prediction. Hey, it's nearly the end of the year, and lots of predictions will be made in the next couple of weeks. ;-)

There were 600 men involved in the operation. That works out to be $1,666.67 each.

Sorry, that's not how it works. They all get a bonus of say , 50% in their next paycheck. OK, the 0-5 with 16 years will get $3107, and the E-3 with <2 years will get $703. Yep, that's fair!

"Buy "The Whole Nine Yards". He stars in it and is the producer. A double-pay check."

Loved that movie. Looking forward to the sequel, due in spring 2004. Will definitely be getting the dvd.

too bad he's gonna be black-balled

Willis is too big a star to be black-balled at this point. He is like Mel Gibson in that he can create his own vehicles whenever he really wants to.

Poor Bruce, he has done nothing since "Moonlighting" while Cybil Shepard's star has just soared.

LOL!

It's so great to witness the actions of a man of his word!

Now if only the idiot Leftists in Hollywood would follow through on their promises to (a) leave America, (b) crawl on broken glass and (c) shut the [John Kerry's favorite word] up!

Whether gross or net, that's still a nice chunk of change. I wouldn't pass it up! ; )

nothing since Moonlighting?????????

You've been asleep. Sixth Sense, The Whole Nine Yards, Fifth Element,Breakfast of Champions, The Story of Us, The Kid, Unbreakable.
If you haven't rented Sixth,Unbreakable,or Nine Yards...you need to. I own all of them.

It should be both gross and net. I don't think combat pay is subject to tax, is it?

If miltary regs prohibit him from giving the money to the soldiers, perhaps he could donate it to a fund benefiting military families instead?

That's a really good idea, and I like it a lot. But there's another way around the military regs: if the soldier cannot accept the money as a bonus for taking in Saddam, then Willis could easily hire them as "script advisors" for a day and send out the checks! : )

And now poor Demi is with Ashton. What kind of real man is named Ashton anyway? (hope I didn't offend anyone here) but I can't for the life of me understand what she sees in the skinny underage no-talent lowlife she is dating (?) now.

Cybil Shepard carried Bruce in the 80s. Has he even been on "Hollywood Squares" recently?

There is a link where you supposedly can "interact" with Bruce himself. Good place for some positive Freeping if you ask me.

I was just noting that was one option Bruce Willis could do. It's his money and he can reward it any way he likes under the rules of the army of course. There have been a number of good suggestions on this thread. Perhaps the commanding officer on the scene would know best where any reward should go. I think his name was Hickey. I imagine some medals might be awarded as well. But I'm not that familiar with the awards system as a whole in the armed forces. Is there one for capturing a high ranking enemy?

Willis is a stand-up guy. God knows Hollyweird needs a few more to help offset the mouth-breathing anti-American faction.
