I tried to enlist after 9/11 and I was refused all around because I was too old as well (44 at the time.)

He's a class act. Makes me want to watch him a million times more than a Julia Roberts.

Are you certain? I'm skeptical that's accurate.

The little mom-and-pop video rental/store down the road from me buys videos from Blockbuster and other Chains which over-stock during initial release and then sell off copies as demand drops...

I'd be shocked if they maintain any sort of database on the stars of each movie rented and draft residual checks to send off every week. For that matter, I doubt that even Blockbuster does this. So "lowbridge's" explanation that the stars only derive direct residual profit from the initial point-of-sale makes some sense to me.

At least it would be away from our shores!

The computers could easily be keeping track of sales and rentals.

You could be right. I don't know. I just believe most movie stars are sharp enough and hire sharp enough atnys to insure that they get their cut at every opportunity.

If miltary regs prohibit him from giving the money to the soldiers, perhaps he could donate it to a fund benefiting military families instead?

Sorry--paper only.

It's worth tracking down though. The MI analysts were charged with what seemed to be an insurmountable task and rose to the occasion.

There were 600 men involved in the operation. That works out to be $1,666.67 each.

Poor Bruce, he has done nothing since "Moonlighting" while Cybil Shepard's star has just soared.
