Sheila Jackson Lee wants terrorist to visit U.S.
Posted on 12/18/2003 7:53:36 PM PST by ConservativeMan55
Sheila Jackson Lee just said on Hannity and Colmes that she talked with Syrian Dictator Bashir Assad for three hours.
She said that she invited him to the United States. She wants to engage him. She said that we shouldn't directly confront him, but rather engage him in some sort of debate/admission/submission.
She debated this with Sean Hannity. Sean said that Bashir's father was a Baathist and that Bashir himself is a Baathist. Don't you find it interesting that a Democrat Congresswoman could talk with a practicing Baathist for three hours and then invite him to the United States!!
Sean said that maybe if Bashir comes to the United States we can arrest him!

These people are more left wing than the Communists in Iraq!
It doesn't even make any sense!

She just admires him for having the kind of power over his citizens that she wishes she could have.

I read somewhere that the Texas redistricting may have her on the way out. Clearly though, the problem is her constituency. Any group of people who would elect such a dimbulb has some major problems.

Half her constituency is probably either dead or make believe. Voter fraud is alive and well!
Even Saddam could get 99% of the vote.

Hannity's not the brightest bulb, but even he can take it this mess of a woman.

I bet the NSA had a big hoot listening in on a three hour conversation with rocket scientist Jackson-Lee. I would think that Bashir had better things to do than sit on the phone for three hours with her.
I doubt we have to worry about him coming to the US. He's sitting on some of Saddam's cash and WMD's. He's probably a bit worried now that SA is in custody.
