I think President Bush will be re-elected next year surely. Nevertheless, there is not any sure candidate for Republican presidential nomination in 2008. I think John McCain, Jeb Bush, Rick Perry, Condoleezza Rice, George Pataki and Bill Frist may be candidates.

But even if she does have different reasons, it simply goes to prove my point: being against the security fence does NOT mean one is pro-Palestine. If so, this logic would mean the right-wing Israelis are pro-Palestine. They are not. Therefore, the logic is fallacious.

As a matter of fact, no. I don't have a fence around my house. And even if I did, it wouldn't do much to dissuade intruders who want to break in bad enough.

Of course, you are referring to the security fence, right? Well, let's run with your analogy:

Let's say you were in the midst of a legal dispute with your neighbor about your property line. In the midst of the dispute -- before the lawsuit gets settled or goes to trial -- you decide you are going to erect a fence around your property. Can you do that?

No, you can't. Why? Because you don't know where your property begins and the other guy's ends. That is the nature of the dispute. You could spend a lot of money erecting a fence that you will have to tear down later, after the property line is established legally, which would be dumb and a waste of money. Get the drift?

Now, let's suppose that you were concerned because your neightbor is a homicidal maniac. So, you think your fence will protect you. Guess what? It won't. A homicidal maniac will find his way around, over or under your fence if he wants to kill you bad enough.

Still not convinced? Okay. You could cheat yourself. Say you build your fence, and in order not to jeapordize the trial, you try to be modest. When you build your fence, you make sure that it is well within the boundaries of your property. Well, guess what? You've just screwed yourself out of YOUR property on the other side of the fence. That's why the right wing Israelis are against the security fence.

The security fence is not a clear cut case. It is not cut and dry. Condi is right to second guess Sharon on this.

It's a form of ID for Mexican Illegals issued by the Mexican Government so that the Illegals can open bank accounts.

Of course it is a very unreliable form of ID and can be used by terrorists.

That's a great commparison - 'it's like the Communist failure in oppression.' The Berlin Wall did not stop the flow of refugees from the East. It changed the route.

The Gaza strip "wall" is nothing but a line of electric fence of barbed wire with some outposts. A scene of increased attacks at the areas bordering the fence - and attacks along the coast of Israel requiring constant shoreline patrolling. It changed the route!

The Israelis have been stopping attacks because of increased intelligence, increased patrols and vigiliance, and increased numbers of soldiers. The strikes on terrorist targets destroys terrorist attacks plans too.

That is what will decrease terrorism not a failed commie idea.

Bush and the budget, mine included, and the reaction to the anti-free speech bill was huge, and Bush was held responsible, even to the point of discussing impeachment and the failure of the Republican party, but you must have missed that under your rock with you white men only club.

If Rice was a white man, we would have heard, most here could name the important administration members. However, many here are politically astute enough to NOT only consider white men and to realize the political benefits of beating the DemoRats with their own spin.
