I'm so sorry your FIL is such a jerk! (sorry)

You are a wise and gentle Lady, and you do not deserve to be treated that way..Here's a hug {{{{{{{homemom}}}}}}}}

I am sending good thoughts your way...

Well, true to form, my knee is killing me today after PT yesterday, if it's so darn good for ya, how come it hurts so much??? (end of gripe)

I'm gonna go put up a small tree on the antique sideboard, there's no floor space..I can't put it completely together, cause it will be too tall, I'll just cover it with lots of "Frou-frou" and hope for the best!

It hurts more the next day because muscles don't show the pain for 24-48 hours, as do bone bruises (but I know you don't have those. Just throwing that piece of information in, for good measure. HAR!)

Anyway, you worked that knee and those muscles and tendons yesterday and felt pretty good last night, right?

The pain just doesn't show up for hours and hours.

Here's a thought - you've heard of people being injured but not "feeling a thing"? That's because nerves might have been cut and pain can't be perceived, or the injury to the muscles and tendons takes time for the body to "register" that something is amiss!

End of medical lesson.

I hope you are feeling much better now. Did the Doctor (the physical therapist) tell you that you could put an ice pack on the knee after returning from PT, and that you could apply that cold pack on and off, for 24-48 hours? It would help, so I'd like to suggest that you ask next time you go.

Sorry that such a sweet person as you are having any difficulties, much less PAIN!!

Please be good to you. I like your idea of modifying the tree. It's something you can do, and you can hide the partial setup. Doing something reasonable is a good compromise for someone who is still using crutches and experiencing pain. Go for it. Dr. Truthy says "YES" to that tabletop tree.

God bless, and have a good night's rest.

Thank you so much for your kindness! You don't know how much it means to me!

God bless you and your family this Christmas! And I look forward to spending a lot of time here together in 2004.

Love, peace, and blessings--
