Evidently the Honorable Rep. Gephardt views a lying, philandering traitor as a shining example of one of the "best" recent presidents.
Seems to have a lot of company on his side of the aisle.
Dubya ain't perfect, but I'd say Gephardt is a "miserable failure" when it comes to rating presidents.

Sounds like
Dick has forgotten a few things: like the first WTC bombing, the OKC bombing, the Saudi bombings, the African Embassy bombings, the
U.S.S. Cole attack...
Quite a short-term memory problem you got there, Dickie...

From the democRATs perspective, little Dick is right. GWB and his policies, have been very bad for the rats and their supporters.

Five presidents, indeed!
The only thing this "professional" politician is saying is that he has been "on the dole" way too long.
We need a vacation from these parasitical congress critters .

So what? The Democrats would say
anything to try to get elected. They'll fail. What a bunch of loosers!
(Their blatherings are not news. Does anybody pay attention to what they're babbling on about? All it amounts to is name-calling and curses. They have nothing to offer, other than a ruthless--and futile--grab for raw power.)

Gephardt also forgets the Carter legacy: double-digit inflation running at 16-18% annually; Iranian hostage situation -- 444 days of Carter impotence; etc.
Gephardt suffers from SMS: Selective Memory Syndrome.

This is a guy whose legacy is that he lost the strangle hold control his party had, on the larger house of one branch of our government, so soundly that they may never regain it for a generation. The "Man who-wouldn't-be Speaker."

"A 27-year veteran in Congress" How misleading. He is a veteran of nothing. Gephardt is just another surviving professional politician. Both parties are loaded with them.

Gephardt's truckdriver dad voted Republican. He doesn't talk about that.

Hey, ol' Dickie has at least 20 unions endorsing him...
Now that I think about it though, that says a lot more about the union movement these days than it does about Dick, don't it?

"I'm going to win the Democratic nomination and I'm going to beat George Bush," Gephardt, standing on a stage in front of a large American flag, said during a campaign stop at the Teamsters Local 886 meeting hall.Right after he wins, he'll be meeting with the Easter Bunny and the Holy Ghost to discuss tax policy.

"Gephardt ... said he will have three goals during his presidency: "Jobs, jobs, jobs." " This is exactly what Muslim terrorists want to hear. This is exactly why they feel emboldened to attack us. If Gephardt won the nomination I have no doubt he would do what he said, at the risk of our national security.
In times of conflict, the President's top three priorities must be security, security, security. Hiring people should be the duty of Wall Street, the investment community, and others with lots of capital.
Honestly, these Democrats are silly. I know Gephardt doesn't have a chance but I still want to clobber him and his cohorts sometime.

Wasn't the Clinton administration completely cause off guard when India and Pakistan blasted 10 nukes in a short time span? If my memory serves me the were clueless until India detonated the first one followed by several more. Pakistan was soon to follow.
