Looking at the voter registration rolls, NH does look very attractive but I've never lived anywhere except CA and all I can think is BRRRRR. Don't count me out, I was in NH once in the fall. It was beautiful. I might consider buying a winter home in Arizona becore relocating to NH, tho.
Not a bad plan. And that gives you a fallback position should California's politicians sell the state back to Mexico. But even though the weather may be unpleasant, don't miss the NH primary elections....

Why stop there? Why have murder laws? Why put up stop signs. Responsible individuals should just not murder and stop when they need to. Indeed. And they should have no complaints when their kids are held at gunpoint in the hallways of their schools and searched and interrogated by police. And if they do, there's always a way to get some charges to stick to that sort of troublemaker. After all, none of the kids were shot...this time.
And if you don't like it, you can always send President Hillary a letter. But it better be a nice one.

...they will freeze their collective butt off...freely. I figure on doing some snuggling with somebody. And I'll do my best to keep her warm, too.
Hope she likes sunsets over big ole mountains.

Please keep us posted. Maybe some pro-lifers should try something like this. A no-abortion zone! We could have home schooling, too. And no homosexuality. No . . . never work . . . it's getting too complicated.

Couldn't they find someplace a little warmer? Amen.
Of the dozen odd college friends who relocated to the east coast for employment reasons all have returned to the sunny climes of California. Even the shortened (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) workday their employers offered in New England during the winter could persuade them to stay.

No income tax, no sales tax, fresh air and water, gorgeous mountains, plenty of four-season outdoor recreation, cider mills, no "seat belt shakedowns"...what's NOT to like? After four years in the South, I'm heading back. See you there.

I truly love that state...always have. My pal with the P-38 has a B&B there.
Now paint white, add determined wind, sub-zero temperature...roaming cheesemoose...a lot like Finland...!
Lots of time for snuggling, though. Sounds like a Survival strategy.
...I guess someone's got to do it....!

Hey, I will do it. I have one property up for sale now and the yr.2005 to get there. I have lived there before and know the costs involved. New Hampshire is not free....Freedom is just another word for nothing else to lose.

There is a great coast line for summer swimming.

New Hampshire has coastal waters. The beaches are like photos of the rocky shores. Taxes are low. You can always hobnob with the elitist in Boston!

I did say that it was for summer swimming. It does get cold there. The winters are great.

Or take the other approach and go hang around with the Maine neighbors, who've sometimes been known to refer to those locally resident for three generations as *the new folks*. It should be interesting to see what they think of my Indiana/Wyoming/Texas accent, tempered by my last 5 years resident in Memphis, a-yuh.
I've already been pressganged for work by a NH Habitat for Humanity church chapter and a Maine narrow-gauge railroad that needs a little help with their trackwork after the Spring thaw.

Don't overlook the lake beaches either, and check out Weirs Beach at Laconia on Lake Winnipesaukee sometime as a good example. Unless you like LOTS of bikers, not on Laconia's biker weekend, however.
And here's your map. There's more lakefront beach than seashore, but still enough to be interesting.

Alternately, you can keyword search for FSP, PORCUPINES, or FREESTATEPARTY, or NH for those articles and reports specificly related to FSP activities within the state or coming from domestic NH news sources. But we'd sure be glad to have ya!

Indeed, a lot like the Karelean Peninsula and the area around Suomussalmi, forested and with tasteful mountains rather than brutal ones. Hmmm, I wonder how reindeer rides would go over as an alternate to snowmobiling in NH....
