Spurrier to Resign as Redskins Head Coach

Steve Spurrier has told his assistant coaches that he intends to resign as head coach of the Washington Redskins, sources said today.
Spurrier, reached today on his cell phone, said he would comment later on his status.
"I don't have time to talk about that stuff right now," Spurrier said.

Now if Butch Davis would just have enough class to do the same thing all would be right with the NFL coaching situation.
Davis is a college coach and needs to leave Cleveland for Nebraska, soon.
