Woman accused of attacking US sky marshal
A woman has been accused of trying to strangle a US air marshal after she became disruptive on a flight from Pittsburgh to Minneapolis.
Officials say the armed marshal approached the woman, who was allegedly drunk, vocal and obnoxious on board Northwest Airlines Flight 1057 on Tuesday.
Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman Jennifer Marty said the woman continued to be disruptive and tried to choke the marshal in a later exchange.
She also kicked the marshal in the groin and bit a law enforcement officer after she was escorted off the plane, Marty said.
The flight landed at Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport with the woman in handcuffs. She was led off the plane by police and placed in federal custody. The extent of the marshal's injuries was unknown.
Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesman Patrick Hogan said he was not sure if the woman was served alcohol on the plane.
The woman could face federal charges of assault or interfering with a flight crew, he said.

Drunk obnoxious women are fun to watch.

Interesting that they won't serve food on the plane (unless you consider the postage stamp-sized packet with 3 peanuts food) but they'll serve you drinks until you can't see straight.

That ugly mug has "obnoxious" written all over it.

Well Grump, it all depends upon your reaction... if you stay detatched, (and most importantly, uninvolved) it can be great theatre on a boring flight.
To: Old Grumpy
You could blame it on the alchohol but she needs to be prosecuted.

Have no doubt - I've learned to be detached from them: there are TWO of them in my office!

What could be worse than a vocal and obnoxious woman? A vocal and obnoxious woman that is your wife.

She reminds me of that blonde biker chick who was arrested on her wedding day.

Seems to me that this is an efficient way to smoke out the air marshall on board. And now that he has been identified...

I like vocal women in bed.

Idjit.
Hopefully she'll get locked up for 3 to 6 months to contemplate her stupidity and not get a 'slap-on-the-wrist'.
