Thank you, sweetliberty. That happened to Mama_Bear once and she finally figured out what caused it. Wish I could remember what it was.

I'll send in my donation tomorrow....and I'll throw in an extra $10 if somebody can help me figure out why my pager won't ping! LOL! I had exactly the same problem. I was SURE that John had done something that was causing my pinger not to ping. Come to find out, it was my sound controls. Mysterious things happen on my computer and somehow one of the adjustments had gotten changed. (Coincidently, these things seem to happen shortly after my son has been here "tweaking" and upgrading my computer. LOL)
Anyway, I can't tell you what sound controls need to be adjusted or how they should be set, but I am almost positive that is the problem.......unless you have lost your notify.wav file. You might want to do a search for it and check and see if it is still in your windows/media folder. If it is there, then check your volume control panel. I am pretty sure that an adjustment there was what brought my pinger sound back.
I know how frustrating it is to be without it. Hope you are able to get it fixed soon. Let me know if I was of any help.
