Did your local grocery store have a sale on Wizzinmy Cornflakes this morning?Clever girl.
I simply tire of the Puritannical brigade on FR that believe the rest of us actually need instruction on where we go and what we do. In short, these sorts of posts piss me off.

Sheesh. Here, let me change the way I worded it.

"Puritannical brigade "
May an army of pilgrims wearing black hats and large belt buckles haunt your dreams.

Aw man, I didn't have a clue that could happen and I enjoy occasionally posting a picture to accentuate a point. Considering my teen-aged daughter sometimes freeps, I consider this knowledge a good thing.

I changed the wording to this:
So please do us a favor, and yourself a favor too since others might think that you intended to post whatever graphic ends up being displayed, and avoid rotten.com when posting to Free Republic.
And if you want to still give them your traffic by visiting their site despite the fact that they hate your guts, that is your own business and I really couldn't care less.
Hopefully your Wheaties will have less of an aftertaste now.

Glenn, throw the cereal away and try this. I picked out a blue one just for you.

I like advise like this --- it's good to know. I've had good wholesome news sources change a picture I posted because they changed the one they had for a url address to another picture. Then I'm sure everyone thinks I'm high or something because the picture I posted makes no sense.
It's good advice to upload the picture to another server especially one you have control over.

Some of us like to be warned. One of the worst days of my life was when I posted two or three images from one of these places that does image swapping...the original pictures were funny, the substituted pictures were obscene. It was horrible, embarrassing, and took awhile to get the posts pulled and remved from My Comments.
I would much rather have known beforehand. I'd say that goes for a lot of us.

Most people post some information about themselves on their homepage. Are you a computer? I didn't think computers could get "pissed off".

Then move on.
Would this make you a sleeper troll?
Why can't you appreciate that some find glorifying death akin to evil.

You're a shining example of one of the principle truths of childhood -- Negative attention often feels better than no attention.

Well, I do appreciate this post because I am not an HTML/web wiz, and I never would have known that this happened. I also happen to have a bulletin board for a mind and do not care to remember pictures of decaying corpses and the like. It takes a long time to scrub my mind clean.

Actually I found the thread helpful. I am not as computer savvy as I would like to be and am learning new things all the time. Though I don't completly understand the nuts and bolts of it, it reminds me to ask my 10 year old for help in posting pictures!!! She actually knows what she's doing!
