I presume the French sub has been sent by train.

The water is 1500 ft in places and crystal clear. Also, near an island just off the coast (5 mi or so) is the breeding grounds for hammerhead sharks.

My advice would be to call in Hans Blix.

The stench of a group of frenchmen in closed quarters should be enough to scare away any hammerheads.

It is going to be hard to keep this thread clean and constructive knowing how freepers feel about France. Let is just hope would be nice. God bless and Happy New Year.

The French (at least their government) are certainly culpable for much of the abuse they are taking these days. But I won't be picking the low-hanging fruit on this thread, and will simply express my condolences to the families of those killed in this plane crash.

I commend the French. Their subs have some of the best acuoustical sensors and radar in the world. Their government has expended billions in research so the submariners can locate the deepest hole in the ocean to hide in once the shooting starts, and with that high tech acoustical equipment they can now hear when the firing stops so they can surface and surrender.
