With each and every abortion of a liberal's child, there is one less liberal alive.I was born of liberal parents, and brought up that way. I attended public schools and a state university. I was liberal enough to support Gene McCarthy in 1968. I am now rabidly conservative. Sorry, your statement is a non-starter.

Since my lovely wife miscarried last Tuesday...We have lost 7 so far. Tried all kinds of things....

That hurts. I know you've probably been told this a million times, and I don't normally get religious anywhere, let alone on this forum, but trust in God's timetable. He is in control. Keep the faith. His Will be done. The wife and the son you HAVE are the most important. Allow this to bring you closer together, NOT split you apart.
Best Wishes.

Sorry to hear this. Do you feel you have good medical assistance to help you determine a possible cause? Science has made many strides in the past few years in finding causes for repeat miscarriages. I hope that you and your wife have a happy outcome next time.

I agree Aeronaut. I was raised by DemocRAT voting Grandparents. I don't hold it against them. I can understand it. They were in the Great Depression and believed that Roosevelt had save them, so no "Old Goat" Republican would ever get their votes. You and I and my Wife converted to Conservative and so have millions upon millions of others from similar upbringings. It's VERY seldom, though, that I hear of a person converting from Conservative to Liberal. I've seen some get disenchanted with the Republicans and turn Independant/Third Party, but they still remain Conservative in their views on issues.
Yes, EVERY unborn life must be protected. White, Black, Brown, Red, Green, Purple, Liberal, Conservative, Communist, Christian, Islamic, etc. Makes no difference at all.

I lost at least 1, possibly 2. Nine years later I have a wonderful 4 year old son. He was born 3 months early, at 2lb, 3oz. I can understand some of your pain. You're certainly in my prayers.

Since my lovely wife miscarried last Tuesday at about the same time line this means a lot to her. My sincere condolences. My mother miscarried a number of times -- at least once to around 5 or 6 months -- until I was born. I was a difficult pregnancy, too, and probably would not have made it were it not for the fact that my mother had an exceptionally good doctor in Houston, where my parents were living at the time. One oddity is that the anesthesiologist who oversaw my mother at my birth ended up being the father of my sister-in-law. It's a small world.
My brother was born 2 years later without any problems at all.
You'll have sons and daughters to meet in heaven just as I will have brothers and sisters. The beautiful things that were taken away from us will be given back to us.

You aren't alone. I miscarried last week at 4 weeks and it is still devestating to me.
But I think to myself, I loved that baby more in four weeks than some people get in a lifetime; to my baby, it meant something even if the rest of the world will never know...
