That is not hunting anymore than going to a grocery store and buying salmon filets is going fishing.

In fact they showed a program regarding animals at the Zoo and when there no longer used they are put in a room for hunters to kill, now that is BS.,,, time to ask some serious questions, isn't it? Whose interests would such a programme serve? Any way of finding out who produced that particular programme?

My daughter's six and she can tear up an aluminum can with her .22 from 25 yds. She shot her first dove this year....and it was in the air, Missy. We don't shoot birds in trees, on the water or on the ground in my family.

Duck is a very FATTY meat I know people eat duck but it's not the healthiest of meats to eat. Many people having to have triple bypass is because of there heavy meat consumption, and there eating habits definetly have to change which for older folks can be very challenging.
I am in the medical field and nutrition is important.

Shooting an animal in a small enclosure, as Missy was talking about on some show.
To: shaggy eel
It was on Discovery Channel and I will try to find out if I can get a tape of it for you.

That is absolute nonsense. Wild duck has a fraction of the fat of farm-raised chicken or turkey. It is quite lean and quite nutritious. And besides which, animal fat is not the demon you people think, witness the success of Atkins and lack of evidence to support skyrocketing cholesterol rates among devotees.

Trapping the media is not really reccommended....They have clever little hands and fingers, which let them free themselves from most leghold traps with little injury. But they're suckers for the old deadfall trick. Use a commie dictator as bait and they'll rush in thinking they are about to get that career making interview.

,,, just check the credits at the end of the show to see who produced it - and post the info back to us all on this thread. That would help us in knowing who's stirring the pot. Thanx.

"Duck is a very FATTY meat"
No. Duck is a very lean meat - it has virtually no marbling. Store bought duck does tend to have lots of fat, but normal people will disregard the fat and just eat the meat. Wild duck is an entirely different matter - it has little fat to begin with.
