It's about time members of congress get the same sticker shock the rest of us do every time our homes are reassessed and taxes keep going up at a rate faster than our income can afford.
Let's pray it happens to every damn one of them!!

The really scary thing for Shays is that he is making, as a member of Congress, probably the most he could ever hope to make. If he ever had to rely on his brains to make it in the real world, that house would be toast!

HAH! Been hoping this weasel would someday get bit in the butt!
A few years ago when we were in DC, had to stop the boyfriend from jumping the railing in the House gallery as Shays stood to back his "good friend" Barney Franks' Hate-Crimes Bill. Boyfriend's (little-used) screen name, "naystoshays".
