I heard Geragos give his spiel about the baby and he is hanging his hat on the baby being too mature ,therefore Laci was kidnapped and held for a time.He sounds absolutely convincing unless you know the iffy projections of time of birth, various sizes, etc.

Orange County added to list of possible Peterson venuesOrange County added to list of possible Peterson venues

Three Bay Area counties could handle Scott Peterson's double-murder case, administrators of California's court system said Tuesday. Officials also added a fourth possibility: Orange County in Southern California. The Administrative Office of the Courts, which assists trial courts when a change of venue is ordered, said Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Orange counties would not be unduly burdened if they took the case.
Defense attorney Mark Geragos is likely to argue in favor of Orange County, because he previously noted that his preferred location is "Los Angeles, Los Angeles, Los Angeles," where his office is located. Los Angeles County is adjacent to Orange County. Geragos did not return calls Tuesday.
The decision rests in the hands of Stanislaus County Superior Court Judge Al Girolami. The judge is scheduled to listen to arguments from prosecutors and defense attorneys on Tuesday, then make his selection.
"The decision is ultimately his," Superior Court Executive Officer Michael Tozzi said Tuesday.
Peterson is charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of his wife, Laci, and unborn son.
Peterson has been held without bail since his arrest in April. His trial is set to start on Jan. 26, but legal observers expect delays.
Girolami last week said the trial must move to a larger metropolitan area within driving distance of Modesto and with a major airport, because an enormous amount of pretrial publicity rules out a fair trial in Modesto.
Girolami suggested Alameda, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
The judge ruled out courts in San Francisco, San Joaquin, Sacramento and Fresno counties. That means that the co.........

I think that is what he is counting on. Jurors who have not kept up reading on this case, or knowing about this case. And I gather he would hope to have stupid jurors who would be dooped enough to believe this crock!

Geragos seems like a dunce with his satanic cult theories, etc. His pleading yesterday showed his skill. It isn't going to be a slam dunk.
The Laci mopping the floor in black pants, changing into tan pants, walking the dog, Scott cell phone timeline, dog found on the leash timeline makes Scott's story impossible.

Thanks for the ping...rb
Watching and waiting for.. trial --facts... I've got lots of questions....
My current question concerns- The Second Trip to the marina theory on the 23rd: Why did he need to? If he stealthly dumped the body early AM on the 23rd; If he thought Laci was securely anchored and would not be found why did he need to go back? He could have kept his golf date on the morning of the 23rd. He could have established a more innocent alibi by placing himself on the golf course the day of the 23rd. ????

Hey RB, thanks for the ping.
I learned something new yesterday. When the prosecution gave their argument to not have the trial dismissed, they said 1., according to Scott's statements to police and tracking his cell calls, Laci only had a TEN minute timeline to 1., change clothes (into what she had on the day before), 2. walk the dog down to the park, 3. get abducted and finally the dog being found and returned to the yard. Uh.. impossible and didn't happen.
Also, I did not now that Scott's fishing equipment in his truck had not even been put together.
So, looks like the prosecution may have it together after all. I really liked how fired up the prosecutor got.

I thought that was established.. By LE who saw him in rentals on a couple of occasions while divers were doing their thing in the bay... or was he just acting like the concerned hubby....

Thanks, as always, for the updates, rb! Drats! This trial will be delayed so long we'll probably all have to watch it on American Justice 5 years from now.

Hate to differ Meg but Geragos NEVER sounds convincing to me. All he does is nasally whine incessantly.!! He is such a bragadosious, exaggerating, irritating POS!!
