How on earth can someone walk if their shoes are taped together?

However, I expect he actually mends his shoes with tape. Like mending eyeglasses with tape.

This is pretty disturbing. Dean is not a man who should be leading the nation on a good day, let alone a day of crisis. It also bothers me that a man with this level of anxiety and other odd compulsions lacks the self awareness to take himself out of this political process. His drive for power must be mighty powerful.

I can't stand Dean, but in fairness to him, Bush was a lot the same way about clothing.
One of the best books about him describes him taping the tassels back onto his loafers and wearing an old sweater for years that had been purchased for him, as a joke, from a thrift store.
For W to do it sounds cute and endearing to me. Dean is just creepy in every way. SHIVER!!!
