Will he pander shamelessly or will he lead with courage? Unknown at this point.Quite well known, actually. The answer is....pander, though he may feel a bit of shame. Who knows?

Will he pander shamelessly or will he lead with courage? Have you been asleep? He's already outspent the greatest socialist presidents in American history. The great creator of massive bureaucracies.
What does this man stand for? Does anyone know?
There is no courage in this socialist plundering fool, he stands for nothing. Except getting himself re-elected by looting our treasury and spending OUR CHILDRENS money. The guy is completely out of control and irresponsible.
He covets. GWB the coveter, GWB the plunderer.

"The American people have a right to ask, `Mr. President, how do you intend to make health care more affordable, and more available?' " Mr. Daschle, of South Dakota, said in a speech." Mr Daschle AND Mr Bush need to understand that the availability and affordability of health care are NOT functions of the U.S. Federal Government.

No I meant did SHE write it. Is she really compiling a list so she can hunt people down?
I know she gets goofy at times, but I don't think she's insane.

I know you're compiling a list of the names of FReepers critical of Bush's liberal Democrat agenda so you can "hunt them down one by one" if Bush ends up in exile at his Crawford ranch next year. Here's a few more names for your list.Howlin, DON'T FORGET to put my name on the list.
I would hate to have people think I was a liberal.

'where else they gonna go?'
That may depend on what's playing on TV. GW might not be worth the effort of reaching for the remote, or pulling a lever.

What does this man stand for? Does anyone know?I do.
- More illegal aliens.
- "Free" prescription drugs paid for by taxpayers.
- Permanent bans on "assault weapons".
- Hillary-Care insurance plans.
- "Free" money for any socially liberal program you can think of.

OK, maybe I'm blind, but what new proposal? The only thing in this NY Times article that even mentions anything specifically is this line:
Mr. Bush has already proposed an $89 billion, 10-year package of tax credits for the uninsured, which is many times less than the health plans of the Democrats.
I think I'll wait and see want is actually proposed before forming an opinion on it.

You missed the author. I wrote that post you were responding to.
Might I suggest more rifle-range time?

You are probably correct, but I can always hope.

Does it really matter what he actually proposes? We lose ground just by having him include the topic on his policy agenda. The way to reduce medical costs is to reform and limit torts, and reduce the monopolistic powers of the AMA. Throwing federal tax dollars at it, or mandating additional insurance, would only make it worse. You drive the price down by killing the demand, and you kill the demand by choking off the cash flow.

Vote buying for farm giveaways.
Vote buying for teaching people how to get married.
Big government...enlarging at a rate not seen since LBJ.
Huge bills to be paid for by my unborn grandchildren.

Bush is a consummate politician who is sewing up votes every way he can. Will he pander shamelessly or will he lead with courage? Unknown at this point. Bush could go either way.You can't be serious with that question. All the man has done is pander to every socialist cause out there. He's a NWO globalist, just like his father. America means nothing to the man.

I wouldn't be surprised if GW invites Hilary to be his VP for the 2004 ticket.
