Red Skelton on Pledge Case Before Supreme Court
CBS archives ^ | unknown | Red Skelton

I think the best case to be made before the Supremes would be to simply present this audio of Red Skelton and allow them to listen to his short presentation.

It's as if Red envisioned the very threat we face today of the Pledge getting kicked out of the classroom.

Wasnt it great when Hollywood was made up of AMERICANS.
Jimmy Stewart, Clark Gable, Lee Marvin, Only a few of the Hollywood Americans. Not an actor today has seen service of their country.

I remember when Red Skelton first spoke this on his tv show years ago. Almost immediatly a group of LAWYERS spoke out against it and wanted to sue.
