Regarding Iran's foreknowledge, this report claims the info was given by Osama's son for a future safe haven.

If Osama's son is / was in Iran, that may be the identity of the mysterious detainee.

Here is something I just found there was a raid in Karachi and a load of bomb making material and a completed bomb was found .....turns out the guy arrested was a Osama Bin Laden bodyguard.

Here..

The sources said that nabbed militant Shamim alias Shami alias Farooq Gujjar, 27, has close links with Al-Qaeda members of Arab origin. He belonged to banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi led by Asif Ramzi.Ramzi was killed in explosion in Korangi in 2002.

Shami got military training in Afghanistan. He also got training of making bombs from different material. Sources said that Shami was also included in Osama bin Laden’s guard squad.

He left Afghanistan after its occupation by the US. Shami, resident of Jamshed Quarter-III abandoned further study after matriculation. He is unmarried. His name is included in Red Book prepared and published by the CID police. The book consists names of 150 alleged terrorists. Shami was handed over to the CID police after his remand.

Could Osama be in the area?

If not, this may have flushed him into trackable movement. This story keeps getting hotter. Thanks for the flag.
