JERUSALEM - The founder of Hamas said yesterday the Islamic militant group would increasingly recruit female suicide bombers.

Sheik Ahmed Yassin told reporters in Gaza there had not been a need in the past for women to carry out bombings. Now, he said, women must step up and fulfill their "obligations," suggesting male bombers were increasingly being blocked by Israeli security measures.

Last week, Hamas sent its first female assailant, a 22-year-old mother who blew herself up at the Gaza-Israel crossing and killed four Israeli border guards.

2. Freedom of speech.
3. Freedom of religion.
4. Property rights.
5. Rule of law.

There are a scant few countries that uphold those values. Those which don't should be excluded.
