The big noise talk show host in Boston is Howie Carr on WRKO. He has a lifetime of stories and tales about the three sheets to the wind, party animal, John Kerry.

These will get national exposure as this monkey climbs up the Democrat tree.

does anyone know what poor veteran's medals he actually threw -- has he been asked about this and what has been his response. i've read about it numerous times before but never seen any true scrutiny of it.

My 2 cents?

That bookcover's picture and author credits will be damaging, and damning. I believe it is enough to permanently taint Mr. Kerry. So keep a weather eye peeled for the "next one up"-- Edwards.

The Jackal Pack Media ( press & entertainment divisions ) are pining for a Clinton II, and if they fall behind Edwards, look for a 1992 reprise of shilling, spinning, and covering-up stories they don't like.

It's fascinating to watch, in a morbid, mordant sort of way... I wonder if those in the media have any sense of how exquisitely they are being manipulated?

On top of that it's all about journalistic careers being made and getting such a buzz about the Democrat candidates that people will actually tune in. People tuning in = advertising dollars.

So apart from sympathy with 'cRAT candidates the various media outlets have to sell themselves in an ever more brutal "news" jungle.

For some reason I can't recall Hamid Mowlana's name rings a bell. I found this bio:

Hamid Mowlana is the director of International Communications at American University. Dr. Mowlana teaches and has written extensively on international communication, cultural and psychological aspects of international relations, and worldwide socio-economic development. His books include: Invisible Crises: What Conglomerate Control of Media Means for America and the World (Westview, 1996); Communication Technology and Development; International Flow of News (UNESCO, 1988); Triumph of the Image: The Media's War in the Persian Gulf (Westview, 1992); The Passing of Modernity: Communication and the Transformation of Society, 1990; The Global Media Debate: Its Rise, Fall, and Renewal 1993; Global Information and World Communication: New Frontiers in International Relations 1986; International Communication in Transition: The End of Diversity?.

But it doesn't remind me of anything. Anyone recognize his name?

And the best part is you KNOW the RNC and Karl Rove have all this information and are busy gathering old tapes, transcripts, voting records etc.

If Kerry secures the nomination, and well before the election gets into high gear, they will see that this information starts getting out to friendly news organizations such as Fox.

I bought this book (or maybe stole this book - it was the Jerry Rubin era afterall) at the Pitt bookstore back in the early 70's.

Now, how much of this slimey Kerry reality is going to make it to the mainstream media for all the ignorant Americans to see before the election? This will be a true indicator of the mainstream media's influence!!!

I saw this geek in his wilder days, and he was severely into "the movement".

In case anyone misses it, an FR thread on Jim Rassman's appearance on the Today show a little while ago.

Apparently Rassman's, and the Kerry campaign's, story on how Rassman came to involved has changed.

i've read about it numerous times before but never seen any true scrutiny of it.

I wonder from where this story originally came.

Without proof, this is sort of like Hillary ridiculously claiming being named after Sir Edmund Hillary, if you get my drift.

But, all the rest of the Kerry Vietnam era stuff is documented.

Kerry is almost a Jekyll & Hyde -
split personality - character. On
one hand, his impressive combat
record. On the other, his radical
leftist blame-America-first record
back then, and now.

Haven't his defenders always tried
to excuse the latter by pointing
to the former? Kerry - qualified
to harshly judge, even reject his
country's policies because he did
fight for his country?

Balderdash. It is damaging. And
very DISTURBING.

Stick a fork in Kerry. He's done.

The RAT's will wind up nominating the candidate with the least baggage on him. Probably will be Edwards.

Watch, two weeks before the election it will be reported that he Edwards is gay.

IS IT JUST ME

or is it REALLY TRUE that as it seems I'm reading more and more--

VIRTUALLY ALL of the HYPORAT candidates are covert to overt champions of a global government etc???

Is there a group of docs that outline this simply, clearly?

This is . . . I suppose predictable but also . . . kind of spooky. How likely is it that 8-10 HYPORATS picked at random would be on the extreme 3rd standard deviation position in behalf of a global government? Strikes me as odd.

"As chairman of the Select Senate Committee on POW/MIA Affairs, created in 1991 to investigate reports that U.S. prisoners of war and soldiers designated missing in action were still alive in Vietnam, Kerry badgered the panel into voting that no American servicemen remained in Vietnam.

“[N]o one in the United States Senate pushed harder to bury the POW/MIA issue, the last obstacle preventing normalization of relations with Hanoi, than John Forbes Kerry,” noted U.S. Veteran Dispatch."

Outstanding job, kattracks. I hope they nominate the quisling French bastard. Sometime in the late 80's [?] he also caused the destruction of the only complete, orginal and vetted data base on POW/MIA sightings, then being maintained at offices within our embassy in Thailand. When people on his staff threatened to reveal his act to the press, he threatened to have them prosecuted for breach of the national security laws. Finally, in view of his constant harping about his military service, I want to see the unit diaries and the commendation reports, assuming they still exist. Always remember that Ichabod Kerry's betrayal of our people still fighting and dying in country was vicious, evil and so complete as to raise the question of his loyalty ab initio.
