U.S. government betrayal

The U.S. government has lied to us.

The U.S. government has betrayed the people.

The U.S. government is about to do it again.

For too many years, Washington, under the control of Democrats and Republicans – it really doesn't matter which – has allowed our nation to be invaded by foreigners.

It has done this in clear violation of the law. It has done this in clear opposition to the will of the people.

In a normal, functioning, self-governing society, there would be a way to correct this problem peacefully through the ballot box. However, the U.S. is no longer a normal, functioning, self-governing society.

In this presidential election year, every single candidate running for the highest office in the federal government supports this blatantly pro-criminal alien invasion policy – every one, Democrat or Republican. The choice is not between a failed policy that is undermining the morale, economic health and rule of law or meaningful reform. The choice is between more of the same criminal behavior by government or worse criminal behavior by government.

This is no choice at all – and such non-choices make Americans less free than their forebears who lived under the crown of England. It's taxation without representation. It's rule by an unaccountable government. It's nothing short of treason by politicians who took oaths to uphold the Constitution and the law of the land.

And nothing short of an outright rebellion, a grass-roots uprising, is going to change the situation.

A report from the Mexican government says the number of Mexicans entering the U.S. illegally increased by 66 percent from 1990 to 2002. Those statistics surely put the crisis in the best light.

It found the number of illegals coming from Mexico each year now exceeds 1 million. The report says about one-third of those who enter illegally, 390,000 annually, achieve their goal of staying in the U.S. The report says the number of Mexicans living in the United States went from 4.3 million in 1994 to 9.5 million in 2002, according to U.S. estimates. It is estimated Mexicans in the U.S. sent approximately $12 billion back to Mexico last year.

As Heather MacDonald reports in the winter issue of City Journal, some of the most violent criminals at large today are illegal aliens. The percentages are shocking. Yet, sanctuary rules in cities around America make these violent felons all but untouchable – free to repeat their heinous crimes over and over again with impunity.

Now, in Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide -- totaling some 1,200 to 1,500 -- are for illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants, about 17,000, are for illegal aliens.

No matter which poll you examine, at least 60 percent of the American people want to rein in immigration. They want to set new immigration policies. Even higher percentages want the current laws enforced.

But Washington pays no attention. Washington pays no heed. Washington marches to the beat of its own drummer – not to the will of the people, nor even to the laws it itself crafted.

It's time to take America back – or our children and grandchildren won't have a country we would even recognize.

It starts with our borders. It starts with the sovereignty of our nation. It starts with respect for the rule of law. And it starts with accountability to the will of the people – American citizens, not special-interest groups, not foreign rulers, not politicians, not multinational corporations, not the rich, not the cultural elite.

The U.S. government is flirting with disaster if it doesn't recognize the volatility of this issue now.

Not tomorrow. Now.

The article Farah is quoting from is The Illegal-Alien Crime Wave. In the article the author writes:

• In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens.

Support TeamTancredo, a new effort to raise money for candidates opposed to illegal immigration. Bush and the GOP will apparently only respond to the loss of money and the threat of loss of close elections.

I don't know about that. In retrospect, the national GOP did not seem that discouraged that it forfeited the 1992 and 1996 presidential elections with mediocre, half-hearted campaigns. And the GOP stood side-by-side with Clinton on issues of mutual interest. Maybe the national GOP doesn't really mind losing an election so long as its preferred philosophy gets adopted. I do think that the national GOP would rather lose on an "open immigration" policy than win on a "deport-illegal-immigrant" stance.

Revolutions are financially motivated.

As long as the people in general are fat, dumb and happy there will be no revolt.

The American people have never been fatter; never more dumb and never more entertained than they are today.

Anybody who begins to talk about revolution could be jailed under some Patriot act provision and nobody will stir. They could be jailed for trying to speak out 60 days before an election under the CFR laws and nobody will stir.

I plan to write him in on the primaries. But in the general election I am supporting the constitution Party. I refuse to cast another vote for the lessor of two evils.

This is one revolution that would certainly be easier to win now than next month or next year. The enemy troops are increasing at about 100,000 a month!

Uh-Oh... I think thats 55% actually. He gives illegal too much credit there =o)

He’s speaking about two different categories of warrants.

Outstanding Homicide warrants in L.A. - Now, in Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide -- totaling some 1,200 to 1,500 -- are for illegal aliens.

All fugitive felony warrants in the U.S - Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants, about 17,000, are for illegal aliens.

Just the latest evidence that those who are willing to break one law to come here will break others once they get here. It is not about innocent people who just want better lives for their family.

Hi DD - I know you read the same newspapers as I do - 90% of the names of criminals listed are hispanic sounding names. It's clear that illegal immigration brings greatly increased crime of all kinds, something America has enough of on its own without importing it.

The successfull ones come from the middle class... from those who have everything to lose
if they dont....those who see their lives and their childrens lives being flushed down the toilet...by the elite

Excellent...pithy...succinct. (Reminds me of the admonition women use with one another about married men: "If he'll cheat for you, he'll cheat on you." :-D) What makes any American with any sense think that when we show contempt for one corpus of our law---immigration---in front of aliens, they're still going to respect our other laws??
