I wish I could find something close to a definitive total.

Regardless, I'm still glad we took that commie douchebag out of action.

“The final toll of civilians confirmed massacred by Yugoslav forces in Kosovo is likely to be under 3,000”

They didn’t publish evidence so we can’t say how many of them, most likely many - were civilians – and that means loyal Albanians and Serbs killed by KLA terrorists. Of others some probably were victims of NATO bombs, maybe some Serb soldiers and policeman killed in fighting with KLA. But we can’t know because:

“No Nato government has sought to produce a definitive total of murdered ethnic Albanian civilians since the Serb offensives began in March 1998, a year before the bombing. "No one is interested," complained a senior international official in Kosovo involved in helping victims' families. "Nato doesn't want to admit the damage wasn't as extensive as it said. Local Albanian politicians have the same motive. If you don't have the true figure, you can exploit the issue."

The best fishing is in muddy water.

And I don’t think Milosevic was commie; at least not die-hard type - I think he was socialist. Sad part that after him friends of Al-Qaeda are in control in Kosovo.

But, but, but, they lied..... well, that's what we should be hearing from the left(if they were at all consistent), but never will.

They don't even disclose names and autopsy reports. Nor do they have and photos or footage - from domestic or international media. I suspect many are bodies accepted by the western-installed puppet government in 2001 and brought up from Kosovo then. The bodies were any that they could find who died from 1998-1999, including the "revenge" timeframe after the war.

Without giving the identities they can manipulate KLA into civilians. Three they identified were KLA who went into Serbia after NATO's airwar. How do we know these aren't Albanians who fought in southern Serbia in 2000 and 2001?

The Office of Missing Persons and Forensics (OMPF) for Kosovo put out a press release about a year ago on recovered bodies and numbers still missing. Excerpts from the OMPF report are below:

· Since 1999, 4019 bodies of victims of the [Kosovo] conflict have been recovered and approximately 2212 have been identified.

· According to the latest version of the Consolidated List of Missing Persons, 4233 persons are still reported as missing, of which 164 are considered dead (but the body has not yet been recovered). · According to the list, 3324 victims would be Albanian and 909 non-Albanians.

Here’s my personal guesstimation at figuring how many of the bodies above are Albanian versus non-Albanian: The percentage of the 3324 missing Albanians to the total of 4233 is 78.5%. If we use the same multiplier for the 4019 bodies, 3156 would be Albanian and 863 non-Albanian.

Total dead or missing would then be 6480 ethnic Albanian and 1772 non-Albanian.

Applying the same ratio for the bodies as for the missing is admittedly subjective. I also don’t know if the above numbers yet categorize the Kosovar-Albanian remains being exhumed from the mass graves in Serbia-proper as missing or as recovered bodies and I don’t know what the stats are that would have to be added in from 2003; but I think these numbers are reasonable.
