I think the mother was relating her daughter's experience, your snide reply should have been directed to the mother. I know GWB personally and he told me that all these programs are just politics as usual to take away the issues from the dems this election year. He knows they will never get through congress in one piece and will either get hacked to pieces or derailed. Also, during his last term, he will have nothing to loose and can move more to the right. It helps to get elected, ya know.
